5 games yesterday.
The Penguins beat the Preds 4-0 in Sweden in the Global Series. The Canucks beat the Lightning 6-2 after being down 2-0 and scored 5 times in the 3rd. The Wild won their 2nd in a row when they beat the Knights 3-2 in OT.
The Red Wings beat the Rangers 2-1 and Quick made 40 saves in the loss and the Avalanche won their 6th in a row when they beat the Islanders 4-1.

Oilers vs Sabres
The Oilers have played 8 games this month and 5 have needed extra time and 7 of last 11 overall too. They are 5-3-2 in last 10 and 4-6-2 on the road.
The Sabres have also needed extra time with 6 of their last 10 needing more time. They are 2-4-4 in last 10 and in Buffalo they have gone 5-3-2.
Too much overtime for both teams to make a call for me.
Hurricanes vs Bruins
The Canes lost their last game but are 6-3-1 in last 10. The Bruins won their last game and have gone 8-2-0 in last 10 games. They played on November 1st and the Bruins won that game 2-1.
On the road the Canes are 6-3-0 and at home the Bruins are 8-3-0. Canes are 2nd in GPG and the Bruins are 5th. For GAPG the Canes are 14th and the Bruins 24th. Both teams are scoring more than they allow but the Canes have the advantage in shots on goal ranking 2nd where the Bruins are 23rd.
Canes are favored and the data does back it up. But the Bruins have played well of late and at home which makes this a tough game to call.
Kings vs Capitals
The Kings have won 4 in a row and are 7-2-1 in last 10. They are in 1st place in the Pacific. On the road they have gone an incredible 9-1-2.
The Caps have lost their last 2 games and are 2-6-2 in last 10. At home they are 4-4-1.
Kings 21st in GPG, the Caps 23rd. For GAPG the Kings are 7th and the Caps 3rd. Caps also rank better in SOG.
CF is about the same, the Kings are better in CA, SF and SA is close. Actually everything is fairly close with the Kings having the advantage in GA/60 and both XGF and XGA. Throw in their road record and it’s enough for me to go with them.

Canucks vs Panthers
Canucks played yesterday against the Lightning and won 6-2. They are 4-4-2 in last 10.
The Panthers are 5-4-1 in their last 10. In Florida they have gone 6-2-1.
Panthers heavy favourites here and would need to take them -1.5 but I’m just not a fan of that.
Canadiens vs Jackets
The Habs are stumbling at the moment dropping their last 3 games. In last 10 they are 4-4-2. On the road they are 5-2-1 and are currently in 2nd in the Atlantic. 3.33 GPG and 3.39 GAPG so almost even for goals for and against.
The Jackets are 5-3-2 in last 10 and in Columbus they have gone 4-3-1. They are ranked 18th in both GPG and GAPG. 3 of their last 4 needed extra time which is always something that gives me concern.
With Habs play of late and Jackets need of overtime I have to pass.
Mammoth vs Ducks
The Mammoth have been in a funk going 4-5-1 in last 10 and on the road they’re 5-6-0. They’re tied for 13th in GPG and 1st in SOGA.
The Ducks are on a 3 game slide but have gone 7-3 in last 10. At home they have gone 5-1-0. They are tied for 2nd in GPG and 4th in SOG.
Ducks are scoring more and allowing less but the expected goal numbers, both for and against, have it much closer which has me put off of this one.
The Canes have screwed me so much being on the other side when going against them… i feel like they get Bruins here in Regulation, the data is screaming at me to…. I feel like McAvoy out again, Canes incredible D only getting stronger. Should be tonights good game
Same here. Any time I bet a few games and the Canes are the “lock” in my eyes, they lose as a huge favourite. Hard to look by Boston who’s winning games and at home thinking canes will just walk them. I’m taking Boston +1.5 and maybe sprinkle on the ML
