8 games yesterday and I had 1 tip and it won.

Had the Knights in regulation against the Rangers and they won 3-2.  A late Rangers goal made it interesting but the Knights held on.

The Leafs snapped their 5 game losing streak, just barely, when they beat the 3-2 in OT.  Celebrini scored a hat trick and the Sharks beat the Mammoth 3-2 in OT.  Bedard scored a hat trick and the Hawks beat the Flames 5-2.

The Isles beat the Stars 3-2 snapping the Stars win streak at 5 game,  Lightning beat the Devils with ease 5-1 and Scheifele had 3 assists when the Jets beat the Jackets 5-2.

Only 4 games scheduled for tonight.

Oilers vs Capitals

These teams have similar records with the Oilers going 9-8-4 and the Caps 9-8-2.

Oilers are 4-4-2 in last 10, the Caps are 3-5-2.  On the road the Oilers are 4-7-2 and the Caps are 5-4-1 in Washington.

The Caps have a big advantage in GAPG and the Oilers have the advantage in GPG.

The odds for this game are really close with the Caps the slight favourite but I have no idea who wins this.

Flames vs Sabres

Both teams haven’t been playing very well so far.

The Flames are 3-5-2 in last 10 and on a 2 game skid and the Sabres are on a 2 game win streak but are 3-4-3 in last 10.

On the road the Flames are 2-9-1 and at home the Sabres are 6-3-2.  With the Flames playing last night they are the underdogs here but looking through the data and I dont see enough of an advantage to make a play.

Hurricanes vs Wild

Canes got a couple of goals from their 4th line when they last played and beat the Bruins.  They are 7-2-1 in last 10 and on the road they have gone 7-3-0 on the road.

The Wild have won their last two games but 2 of their last 3 overall needed overtime.  They are 6-2-2 in last 10 and at home they have gone 6-3-3.

The Canes have a big advantage in CF/60, CA/60, both Fenwicks, SF, SA, GF.   Thats enough.

Canes in regulation

Ontario: 2.06 Odds at TonyBet
Rest of Canada: 2.06 Odds at TonyBet
USA: +103 Odds at BetOnline.
Everyone Else:  2.00 Odds at 888 Sports.

(Odds correct as of 2025/11/19 8:01:18 AM EST but are subject to change.)

Bruins vs Ducks

They played once this season with the Ducks winning that 7-5.

Bruins have been great over their last 10 going 8-2 but 3 of those wins came in extra time.  On the road they’re 4-5-0.

The Ducks are also playing well over their last 10 going 7-3-0 but had only 2 need extra time.  At home they have gone 6-1-0.

Bruins getting hit pretty hard with injuries with McAvoy, Mittelstadt, Lindholm and Arvidsson all out.

Ducks are the favourites here and looking at the data doesn’t give me enough to go with them here so I have to pass.

Going to try Anaheim moneyline at home.

Anaheim has crushed teams better than Boston and Boston has mostly played in the east, so will likely presume Anaheim is the same lowly team as the last few years, and get a huge surprise in a non-Conference game.

They do have a slight data edge as well. in my interpretation ,LOL which means as much as nothing from a random internets person. Hahaha. Should be tonight’s best game and a good one to watch. Ill fall asleep and miss it for sure. LOL

This isn’t a comment to you guys just general ranting.. as I sit here the canes are down 2-0 in the first period.. how come whenever I bet them they play down to their advanced metrics and when I say I’m not touching them they completely shut down the competition and win easily… is it just variance?? FUCK lol

Graeme

Canes are such a weird team when it comes to the advanced metrics. I’ve referenced them before as a juggernaut in them – it’s been going on for over 5 years now it’s insane.

The problem is they are a rarity where it doesn’t relate as much to on-ice play or on-ice results. It’s a weird one to describe – but unlike other teams, the advanced metrics for the Canes are something I don’t weight heavily.

So they are the one team where I have to not consider or factor in the advanced metrics as much when backing them.
