1-0 yesterday, as the Lightning/Capitals game went over thanks to a big first period. I was hoping it’d go over a lot quicker so I could catch a quick nap before the F1 race, but they dragged it out a bit.
Let’s see what else. (Fuck the) Islanders continue to confound me and games featuring them are an automatic no bet at the moment. Sharks/Sens ended up being a tight one that I thought based on results, but Sens got the win.
Habs/Leafs went over but it would have been a tight one. Avs cleaned the Preds clocks. One in hindsight I probably should have sucked it up and bet. Ducks offense got firing and they got the win making them quite the high variance team to bet.
And thank F for advanced metrics as it saved me on the Stars there.
It’s Sunday. Six games, probably nothing due to B2Bs but let’s see:
Sabres vs Hurricanes:
Sabres coming in off that crazy Hawks win. To say their offense is hot and cold at the moment would be an understatement.
With the awy their offense can turn it on, I’d be hesitant to take Canes in regulation. Defensive metrics wise I think you’re probably fine there but I do worry about the Canes SCGF/60 at the moment despite some great GF/xGF.
I don’t hate a Canes in regulation play today, but feel it’s a tad risky.
Jets vs Wild:
Odds seem about right. Wild have some ridiculous goaltending metrics at the moment that has been a gamechanger for them. It’s a tight one and I think the bookies have the odds perfect.
Islanders vs Kraken:
Say it with me…..

Blackhawks vs Avs:
Avs B2B against a rested Hawks concerns me. Plus I’d have to take them at -1.5 on the road it looks like. No thank you.
Sharks vs Bruins:
Bruins might be worth a punt here but not loving the odds.
Canucks vs Flames:
With the high variance of the Canucks its hard to bet anything here. I’d guess at Canucks but man you cannot trust them defensively at all.

I see a couple unders and parlay COL&CAR at moneylines. Unders and parlays are 2 things i dont do…. Guess ill get off my butt, no bets and actually skate with the kids instead of watching pros skate today. LOL
WPG/MIN seems to be a good matchup and todays best game
