6 games yesterday. Crazy that we are past the quarter point of the season already.
The Avalanche picked up their 9th straight win when they beat the Hawks 1-0. The Flames beat the Canucks 5-2 for their 3rd win in a row.
Graeme’s Islanders beat the Kraken 1-0 in a shootout in a incredibly boring game. The Wild beat the Jets 3-0 for their 5th win in a row and the Sabres beat the Canes 4-1 with Malenstyn scoring a beauty.

Jackets vs Capitals
They played back in October and the Caps won that one 5-1. Both teams are coming into this game off of losses.
The Jackets lost their last game 4-3 in overtime to the Red Wings. The Caps had their win streak snapped at 3 games when they lost 5-3 to the Lightning.
The Jackets have needed extra time in 4 of their last 5 games and 6 of last 8 winning 3 of them. Makes it tough to predict a game.
The last 4 games for the Jackets had goal totals of 7, 5, 7 and 7. Last 4 for the Caps were 8, 12, 11 and 3. Both teams have good numbers in XGF so I’m taking the Over.

Blues vs Rangers
The Blues are 4-2-4 in last 10 and 3 of their last 5 needed at least overtime. On the road they are 4-4-2.
The Rangers are on a 4 game losing skid and are 4-6-0 in last 10. At home they have gone 1-7-1.
Both teams are near the bottom of the league in GPG. The Blues also rank poorly in GAPG where the Rangers actually rank well there.
With the Blues bad at all major stats and the Rangers on this skid, I have to pass here.
Flyers vs Lightning
The Flyers are another team that has needed extra time with 4 of their last 6 going there. They are on a 2 game win steak, are 5-3-2 in last 10 and are 3-3-1 on the road.
The Lightning on 3 game win streak and are 7-3-0 in last 10. At home they’ve gone 6-5-0 which isn’t very good.
The data is pretty close here with the Lightning having a slight edge in Corsi for and goals for. It would have to be Lightning in regulation but the Flyers having plenty of OT and their home record has me off of this one.
Wings vs Devils
Wings are 5-4-1 in last 10 and 5-4-0 on the road. The Devils are on a 3 game losing skid but have been great at home going 7-0-1. They are also 5-4-1 in last 10.
These teams are really close. The Wings are 13-8-1 and the Devils are 13-6-1. Both are in the bottom half of the league in both GPG and GAPG. For shots the Wings are 5th and the Devils 6th.
With both so close it’s making it tricky to find a team to back here. Wings have advantage in CF, CA, both Fenwicks, GF and XGF but the Devils haven’t lost in regulation at home yet.
Panthers vs Predators
Panthers lost their last game to the Oilers 6-3 and are 6-4-0 in last 10. As a road team this season they’ve gone 3-6-0 which doesn’t give much hope.
The Preds lost their last game 3-0 to the Avalanche and are 2-6-2 in last 10. They’ve gone 5-6-2 in Nashville.
The Panthers are starting Tarasov who has gone 1-3-1.

Senators vs Kings
Sens have won their last 2 games and are 6-1-3 in last 10. On the road they’ve gone 4-3-2.
The Kings stumble into this game on a 3 game losing skid. In their last 10 games they have gone 5-3-2 and at home they’ve gone a lousy 1-4-3.
The Kings have a big advantage in CF/60, FF/60 and SF/60 but it’s their home record that has me worried.
Knights vs Mammoth
Knights are 4-2-4 in last 10 and on the road they have gone 5-1-4.
The Mammoth are 3-4-3 in last 10 and 3 of last 5 needed overtime, all 3 losses. In Utah they have gone 6-2-1.
They played each other on Thursday and the Knights won 4-1 so with them just playing I’m passing here.
Man… i really wanna go with Detroit here and feel its a good one. Was hoping for you to confirm it! But i saw it as close as wellDarn…
looking forward to that DET/NYJ game and OTT/LAK… although the OTT/LAK will probably be low scoring defensive affair

I wouldn’t take Over 6.0 or Over/Under any number with that matchup, it looks very risky, looking at the results those teams have each had over their last 10 games, their season totals so far and with Jack Hughes out, the Devils offense is still suffering. I can’t see a lean one way or another for O/U.
Thats true, in fact Markstrom will start for Devils, who are really bad this season.What are your choices for tonight?
I honestly feel that Detroit Moneyline is of true value here… I just wish they were at home and it would make it that much easier
