7 games and one tip yesterday.

I had the Jackets vs Caps game to go over 6.5.  The Caps did their part winning 5-1 missing out by half a goal.

Cooley scored 4 goals when the Mammoth beat the Knights 5-1.  The Panthers scored 8 times when they beat the Preds 8-3.  The Rangers snapped their 4 game skid when they beat the Blues 3-2

Only the one game today.

Stars vs Oilers

These teams played earlier in the month with the Stars winning 4-3 in overtime.

The Stars lost their last game 3-2 in a shootout but have been playing well in last 10 going 7-2-1.  On the road they have gone 7-1-3.

The Oilers beat the Panthers in their last game in what was a Stanley Cup Finals rematch.  They are 4-4-2 in last 10 and 5-1-2 in Edmonton.

Rantanen has received 2 game misconduct penalties in his last 3 games so he received an automatic 1 game suspension.  His loss will hurt the team as he has 28 points in 22 games but its only this game he’s out.

The Oilers have better CF/60 and SF/60 but they have a rough 4.14 GA/60 so I can’t back them.  The Stars missing Rantanen so the odds for them are decent to win but I’m skipping this.

I dont pay enough attention to Dallas to know if Rantanen out will affect the total score (as a play maker??) BUT the Over 6.0 seems decent at -105(1.95)

Just to get one in eh.

I’m off hockey and all USA sports bets before Saturday. It’s US Thanksgiving on Thursday. One NHL game today, 15 games tomorrow, none on Thursday and of the 15 games on Friday, 12 start early. That’s ludicrous for expecting players to be fully energized and focused. I’ve heard that by travel volume, US Thanksgiving has higher traffic than Christmas. With the schedule compression this year, players will be hugely thankful for any extra single day off. I expect player enthusiasm and/or focus to be way down Wed and Friday. If anything else shows up worth betting on, I’ll try to post it.

Travel is high forusre. As we have many friends already there and have been since early in the week to see family down in USA , im from Canada… they dont do this trip during Christmas.

I think as a whole much more important trip and also football, lol. They all almost make it to some form of football game, highschool, college, NFL. I could care less about that sport… just me.

The league is only comprised about 1/3 USA players, i guess that can affect play when mind is on other stuff eh??
