4 games yesterday
The Canucks jumped out to a 4-0 lead and held on for the 4-3 win against the Caps. The Wings beat the Oilers 4-2 for their 5th straight win.
The Ducks managed to tie the game up with 36 seconds left in the 3rd but the Hawks managed to score at just under 3 minutes into the extra frame for the 2-1 win. The Mammoth beat the Bruins 3-2 with Pasta scoring twice in the loss.
5 games scheduled for tonight.
Wild vs Rangers
The Wild are now on a 3 game losing skid dropping games against the Stars, Caps and Flyers.
The Rangers beat the Habs 4-3 which snapped the Rangers 3 game losing skid.
With the Wild on the 3 game losing streak its hard to back them but the Rangers haven’t won a game at home yet going 0-3 in New York.
Kraken vs Flyers
The Kraken are off to a solid start this season where they are 3-0-2. Of the 5 games they have played 4 of them have needed extra time which if pretty crazy.
The Flyers are 2-2-1 so far this season. Like the Kraken, the Flyers have needed extra time with 2 of their 5 games going past regulation.
With so much overtime between these teams it’s tough to call a winner.
Sabres vs Canadiens
The Sabres lost their first 3 games of the season but have came back and won 2 in a row beating the Sens 8-4 and then shutting out the Panthers 3-0.
The Habs have gone 4-2-0 and 2-1-0 in Montreal. 2 of their last 3 games have gone to overtime.
I want to take Montreal here but it would have to be in regulation which isn’t that bad but the Sabres have found their footing after that terrible start.
Jets vs Flames
These teams are seeing opposite results so far.
The Jets are on a 4 game win streak after losing game 1 and have gone 2-0 on the road.
The Flames won their first game 4-3 in a shootout against the Oilers and have lost their last 5 games. In Calgary they have gone 0-2.
It’s early in the season so it’s tough to use home and away records. I do like the Jets to win here but it has to be in regulation.
Hurricanes vs Knights
This should be a great game.
The Canes are off to a perfect 5-0 start. They are averaging a crazy 4.6 GPG and 37.4 SOG which are both ranked 1st.
The Knights are 4-0-2 and on a 3 game win streak. They are ranked 2nd in GPG with 4.33 and 7th in SOG with 31.3.
Using the GPG stats of both teams I’m going with the Over.

TBF, why would Rangers loose AGain on home ice, I think they will find the strength this time around — they need to break the curse. Disregarding stats and whatnot just on pure feeling I just don’t see them loosing AGain.
Rangers in Regulation @ 2.12
Blue shirts found their mojo vs Habs and that will carry over against a team leaking goals and with their worst goalie in net. The fact that the Ranger’s home start has been so bad is exactly why they will win this tilt. Plus their stingiest goalie will be between the pipes. Under looks good too but only tipping Rangers in reg
I’m springing for a play money parlay:
1) Jets win on the Puckline
2) Seattle/Philly Tie in regulation
3) Carolina/Vegas – full game OVER 5.0
Combined odds are about x14.80
Jets winning on the puckline is the most likely. The Flames are consistently weak this season, they can’t be expected to suddenly rebound, they are what they are. The Over 5.0 is up in the air with top teams facing off, but Vegas has let in 19 goals so far.
