Pacific Division Winners Betting Tips:

The favourites for the division alternate between the Knights and the Oilers depending on the sportsbook.

The Knights of course won it last year by 5 points over the Kings. They did that off an excellent home record.

Their big pickup is Mitch Marner, but it’s looking like they may miss Pietrangelo for the majority of the season. They do still look solid defensively though.

The Knights look like the team to beat. They go through their slumps at times, and I felt for large periods last season they were a complete liability on the road, but they seem to have some real magic mojo which has seen them perform extremely well in the Pacific over the last few yeasr.

Oilers usually have mentality issues and I can’t back them. The Kings – eh, not sure about losing Spence and Gavrikov to replace them with Dumoulin and Ceci. I don’t think anyone watched them last year and thought THAT was what they were missing.

For me, I think the Knights win the division with no trouble.

Looking at the other teams – hopefully the Ducks offense works out better this season. I’ve liked the Granlund / Kreider pickups and think they will be a solid mid team.

I think the Sharks are a team to watch – I think they will be one of those streaky teams we see, and I’ll be looking at them stringing some wins together to pop on a hot streak.
