We were asked by a few users if we would be doing betting tips for the hockey taking place during the Winter Games.
We are not as there can be a lot of high variance to it, and trying to decide between a -3.5 or -4.5 cover is never that fun!
However we have set up this thread if anyone wants to discuss the hockey during the next few weeks, and talk about bets they are making.
We will hopefully pop in as well with our own thoughts.

Only tip is watch it with a nice cold one 🙂 Feel like Canada have been quite fortunate in the knockout rounds but luck has been going their way and I could see that continue.

Honestly I spend time trying to analyze it each day then just end up throwing on bets for fun lol. Entertainment bets more than anything.
For the later games going to take Italy +3.5 on the puck line at 2.65 and hope for a big effort from them, then hafe bets on both Tkachuks to score at 2.40 and Jack Hughes at 2.90 in the USA game.
100% not tips, haha.
Well I got about half a games entertainment out of that Italy bet lol

Well it worked out and that’s the only thing that matters😅
By all means CAN should win quite comfortably so it shouldn’t be too crazy taking them in Regulation. However odds too low so my tip is having it as a bet-boost. Also, I don’t trust the HC just yet and you seem to have to take -2.5, err no!
E.g. I found a double with a match in premier league with a total of 2.22
That’s how I managed yesterday with the sweden game: O 5.5 as a boost (with a total of 1.95).

(Writing at 3:30 left in the 1st) Man, Canada clearly has that pressure anxiety going on. The joy of high expectations. If the Czechs sneak one, things could get very interesting.
what’s the opinion on Slovakia vs Finland ? can’t decide what to put on that game (have to bet something today cause of our friends tournament )
Well the odds were so miscalculated, Slovakia seems better than Finland
But first we got the women ice hockey games! No interesting odds so far yet though

Sweden vs. Italy
Sweden vs Italy is definitely a “how much will they win by” question. My gut is leaning towards a slow start for Sweden and taking Italy +5.5.
