Well – I think everyone was disappointed that the Stanley Cup features the Bruins vs the Blackhawks. Many were hoping for the Blackhawks vs Penguins final, which seemed a lot more epic. However we soon forgot about that on Wednesday, as the Bruins and Blackhawks Game 1 ended up being a clinic!

I mean wow – the Hawks came back from 1-0 down and 3-1 down to win the game in Triple OT. Just how sick was that? What an amazing start to the series.

We still have our Boston to Win the Series bet so we’re staying away from picking winners in games as it is counter-productive; but honestly we couldn’t pick who would win Game 2 if you held a gun to our heads. As we saw in Game 1 this series is going to be incredibly tight, and either team can pick up the win.

Both teams are well-rested, so fatigue won’t be an issue here thanks to 3 days off.

We recommend grabbing their mobile app as well – that’s what we always bet on.

The sportsbooks expect this game to be a low-scoring affair – and we tend to agree with them on that. There were some sloppy goals scored on Wednesday, and we expect Game 2 to be a lot tighter defensively. Stanley Cup finals are often low-scoring affairs.

However, the Under 5 goals has HORRIBLE odds at 1.68. That is completely untouchable. Therefore we recommend going with:

Race to 3 Goals: Neither

Basing it on what the sportsbooks think, they feel the true line for this game is 4.5 goals.

If we bet that neither team will score 3 goals, we are getting 3.30 odds on it at http://www.bet365.com(Non-Americans) http://www.bovada.lv(Americans). This is an excellent price based on the sportsbook predictions as it should be more like 2.60 odds.

At 3.30 odds for a game expected to be low-scoring, we’re getting great value here.
