So it is going to be the Boston Bruins vs the Chicago Blackhawks for the Stanley Cup. Who do you think is going to win? We would love to hear from you folks in the comments section here and also on Twitter and Facebook. Who WE want to win has to be the Blackhawks due to them being Scotts team. But who will win is a completely different story.
The Bruins just Swept the Penguins. The STACKED Pittsburgh Penguins so they have to be considered the favorites(although http://www.bet365.com(Non-Americans) http://www.bovada.lv(Americans) have the Blackhawks have healthy favourites). But the Blackhawks just beat the defending Stanley Cup Champions so they have to be considered favorites as well. But who has the better shot of being the Stanley Cup Champion
Who is going to win? How can we all make money off of this? Well It is hard to predict who is going to win each game. Due to the lockout shortened season no East teams Played any West teams so it is hard to predict the outcome.
For the Bruins they just barely got by the Maple Leafs in the first round,. They had a 3-1 series lead and were trailing the Leafs in the 3rd but scored 3 unanswered goals to tie it and send it to overtime where the Patrice Bergeron Scored to seal the deal for the Bruins.
Round two was a lot easier for the Bruins when they beat the Rangers 3-1 in the series
Round 3 was a breeze as the walked all over the odds on favorite to win the Cup, the Pittsburgh Penguins, and are now waiting until Wednesday to start the Finals
Round 2 saw the Hawks winning their first game but losing their next 3 to go down 3-1 in the series against the Red Wings. But the Blackhawks stormed back to win the series in the 7th game
And in round 3 the Hawks won when they needed to and beat the Los Angeles Kings 4-1.
So now we are in the finals. Who matches up better against the other? Who has faced better competition than the other? Who is going to win the Stanley Cup?
We are tipping the Boston Bruins.
This can’t be ignored.
Blackhawks can struggle against physical teams – and you can’t get much more physical than the Bruins. We’ve seen Chicago give up a lot of silly penalties during the series and they’re going to try and go muscle to muscle with the Bruins – which will most likely result in a lot more silly penalties. When Blackhawks give them away they struggle – when the Bruins get them, they take advantage.
We want the Blackhawks to win. But honestly – what do you think the odds are for both teams? We’d have it, based on the playoffs, as a 50/50 flip with a slight lean towards the Bruins. The way they manhandled and dominated Pittsburgh was incredible. Yes – Penguins got unlucky a LOT – but that shouldn’t take anything away from the Bruins.
When you have a 50/50 flip and you’re getting 2.25 odds on one side – it’s a no brainer.
We’ll be doing game to game betting tips from Game 2 onwards.
