No tips last night but there was 2 games

The Penguins pounded the Coyotes 7-0.  There were 7 different goal scorers in this game including Crosby who scored his league leading 21st.

The Bruins vs Habs was the other game and this was won by the Bruins 2-1 in OT.  As always this was a great game with lots of huge hits.

After a slow night of hockey with only two games we have a nice night full with 10.

Sharks vs Leafs Betting Tips:

The Sharks have had the Leafs number of the last 10 games between them going 9-1.  Over those 10 games there Sharks have averaged over 4 gpg.

The Leafs games seem to always be high scoring.  They are 7th in gpg with 2.93 but are 27th allowing 3.00 per game.

With the Leafs at home I expect a strong effort from them.  But not confident enough to tip them for the win.  I’m going to go with Over 5.5

Capitals vs Islanders Betting Tips:

This should be a good game. The Caps are on a 4 game win streak while the Isles had their point streak snapped at 6 games when the lost 6-2 to the Jackets on Saturday.

These teams last played on December 1st and it was the Isles winning 3-0.  I expect the Caps to be looking for revenge.

The Caps are playing some great hockey over this winning streak and I have a tough time seeing it go the Isles way in this one.

Capitals win

Everyone Else: 1.74 Odds at Bet365

Blue Jackets vs Oilers Betting Tips:

The Jackets are on fire right now winning 6 in a row and have outscored their opponents 25-9 during this stretch.

The Oilers are looking to get back to playing good hockey like they were at the start of the year.  Their last 6 games have been decided by a goal and are 3-3-4 over their last 10 games.

When these teams play each other it seems to be a high scoring game averaging over 7 per game over the last 10.

On the year the Jackets are 3rd with 3.31 gpg while the Oilers are 6th with 2.97.  All signs point to a high scoring game and I like it to be just that.

2-1 last night for a small profit, should have stayed away from the Bruins/Habs game, those can always go either way. I think the Blues offer some interesting value on the ML today. Preds home-ice dominance has cooled a little, and the Blues have looked good the past two weeks.

    • Mirko Presen

Look at the Cbj line probably gonna take a shot on that one 🙂 I am leaning at Nsh-Stl to go over 5.On my radar are the canucks as they dominate the canes in the past.

      • BlueLineBets

Yeah, I think there is value all around in the Blues game. Also the Red Wings have two regulation wins since October 25th, 6 of their 8 wins have come in OT/SO. The line is currently set at 5.5. The odds aren’t great but the Under is looking pretty good in that one, possibly OT too.

        • Mirko Presen

Hey do you have any site that shows stats for how many games in % the home teams won and away?Cant find it anywhere.

          • Norbert Buzási

I don’t know the ML home-away, but I know the 1×2 home-draw-away. 45-25-35% so far. In the recent years it ended up arount 41% home winning%.

          • IanG

So the 2.3 odds for NYR to win at home are rather generous in my view

          • Arto Reinikainen

The road team has now won 6 straight meetings between Hawks and Rangers. Continues where they left off last year.

          • IanG

Darn – wish I knew that stat!!

  • magus1349

Sabres, Sharks, Ducks and Oilers. All in reg.
One unit on each and one unit on combo.

  • Rumen

Niemi is in net today for Dallas. I think they are due a win at home.

  • lion

    Project Lion 1/15

    Kings win ML

I also think that Jackets, Hawks and Blues may win. Better if you will not bet on regulation time.

    Good luck!

    • Mirko Presen

Are Toews and Seabrook really back?

      • BlueLineBets

        All signs point to yes.

        • Mirko Presen

That is big boost for Chicago. So for La and Buffalo history some sick stats for home teams in this matchup.

Home team is 20-3 last 23 meetings and Kings 1-11 last 12 in Buffalo

      • lion

Yes but it will take a bit time to get them back in %100. 2 or 3 games

  • slyNHL

    hi guyz.
My thoughts on today’s matches :
    Isles – Caps over4.5
Sabres – Kings – Sabres to win
Canes – Canucks – X2 (Canucks not to lose in regulation) – tho those kind of bets is not popular over here
    Rangers – Hawks – U5
    Wings – Arizone – O5
    Leafs – Sharks – Leaft in regulation/no draw (if draw – odd = 1)
Wild – Flo – WIld reg
Nashville – Blues – Nash reg
Stars – Ducks – Ducks to win
    Oilers – Jackets – Jackets over 2.5 goals…

    • slyNHL

Not a bad picks at all 6 in 2 out 2 push.

  • Smoking Barrel

I think that Over 5 in Nashville-St. Louis might be a good pick. What do you think about it?

    • im also pulling the trigger on that one. has all the quality for at least a void bet

  • Pucking Hockey

may want to be careful with the over 5.5 in the Jackets/Oilers game. Tortorella’s style should shut down McDavid, then the rest of the team will fall in line. Buffalo and Philly have done it already, this is the perfect game for a Tortorella style.

    • SanDiegoBruins

Oilers aren’t just McD, Leon Draisaitl is emerging as a premier player and they have Eberle, Luc and RNH as supporting cast. With this game you have two explosive teams who can easily score crooked numbers. CBJ is the better team defensively, but they’ll have a tough time keeping both of Oilers top two lines off the board.

      • Pucking Hockey

        cough* Bobrovsky

    • Orhan Cypriot Ugurcag

Oilers have great numbers over Jackets overall too.

      • Pucking Hockey

Not against this new and improved Jackets team under tortorella

  • Mirko Presen

Yesterday was 2-3 for the night so tonight i am going to do some little changes.

    Toronto ML 1unit
    Nyr ML 2units
    Wild ML 1unit
    Preds ML 1unit

    Wash / NYI under 1.5g 1st period 0.5 unit
    Van / Car under 1.5g 1st period 0.5 unit
    StL / Nash under 1.5g 1st period 0.5 unit
    Flor / Wild under 1.5g 1st period 0.5 unit

    • Orhan Cypriot Ugurcag

I like your picks, I think Preds is a good shout, they are still good at home and play well against good teams, Toronto is definitely also a good pick, they also play well at home and have Andersen back in net. The Wild I’m not too sure about, NYR should win, but Chicago do have some good players back tonight, regardless, NYR have way better stats than Chicago on PP, PK ect.

      • Mirko Presen

If you look at the nash stats at home they are 9-2-2
Stl 4-8-2 on a road.Between this to teams home field is a big advantage in h2h matchups.
Toronto seems to play very good at home against good teams.Wild are insanely good at home with Dubnyk at net while Florida is strugling big time this year with all the changes.I could say under is very much possible here.
For Nyr if you look Raanta is hot and even with injuries they have seems to me they find a way to win games. It sure will be a close one Chigago is gettin boost with 2 players coming back but will they find the rythm first game back?

        • Orhan Cypriot Ugurcag

I also think the Caps will get revenge tonight for that loss against the Islanders last time, they’ve significantly improved since then while the Islanders have slumped

    • Orhan Cypriot Ugurcag

Scott Darling is performing insanely good.

      • Mirko Presen

Unfortunaley he step up to the challenge.Hope toronto holds up an preds turn the game.
        Sick scores for now.

  • SanDiegoBruins

The only play I really like today is CBJ-Oilers over. I was able to get it for +110, but the line has changed.

small bets on LAK reg and Caps reg

    non-NHL tips from professional handicappers:
    E Washington NCAAB
    Monmouth NCAAB
    S Alabama NCAAB
*consider teasers with 2 or more of these plays

disclaimer: I am not a professional. these are my opinions and you should always do your own analysis.

    • Mirko Presen

I guess i am betting against everyone today 🙂

  • DawsonArkiri

Lions Project 3/15 Shark ML win @ 1.85

  • Orhan Cypriot Ugurcag

LA Kings lost 11 out of 12 games against Buffalo in Buffalo, Sabres win looks like a good play.

  • Arto Reinikainen

I see so many similarities with Coyotes-Red Wings game and Avs-Leafs game.

Coyotes will hang in there while the already cold Wings offense bangs their head against Smith and the Coyotes see their opportunity to steal the game.

    Coyotes in reg 4.25 !

    • SanDiegoBruins

      looking good so far brother

      • Arto Reinikainen

Canucks with the meltdown of the year, 3 goal lead turns into 1 goal deficit in 6 minutes HAHA

  • SanDiegoBruins

    Nucks 4 – Canes 2 after 30 mins

    • Orhan Cypriot Ugurcag

      That sabes comeback though

      • Mirko Presen

Lol what about canes comeback :O
