Last night was the first losing night of the month as we went 1-2.

Our win was the over 5 tip in the Ducks vs Penguins game and Pittsburgh won 6-2.  Crosby had a big game with 2 goals and 2 assists.

Our losses were the tip of over 4.5 in the Devils vs Rangers game and the Rangers won 2-1, and we had the Lightning to beat the Sens and the Sens won 5-0.

The other game of the night saw the Red Wings beat the Panthers 3-0.

A nice busy night with 12 games. Let’s get back to winning

Stars vs Wild Betting Tips:

This is the 3rd game between these teams with the Stars up 2-1.

The Stars have had some struggles recently but had won 3 in a row before taking a loss in their last game.

The Wild are 1-8-1 over their last 10 and ride a 5 game losing skid into tonight’s game.

I like the Stars to come away with the win.  They have had a good year and have plenty of time to turn this slump around.

Stars win

Lightning vs Canadiens Betting Tips:

The Lightning are 8-2 over their last 10 games. They will be going with Ben Bishop tonight.

The Habs have won 2 in a row but have been horrible for most of the season.

Decent odds for a Lightning win so I’m going to take them in this game.  They should win against a Habs team who has had problems putting together a win streak since they started the year with 9 straight.

Lightning win

Islanders vs Blue Jacket Betting Tips:

Islanders win is the tip for this game.

The Isles will look to complete a 4 game season sweep of the Jackets with a win tonight and come into this game after blowing out the Oilers 8-1 on Sunday.

The Jackets are tied for last place in the league with the Oilers and the Leafs.

What is everyone else thinking about the Panthers and Blackhawks games tonight?

Risto Taarna

Both to win

#CLX73

Both in regulation? What about the Caps’?

Risto Taarna

No. Both in full time. What about the Caps? Well they might get their 1st win over Panthers since 2013 but it’s your choice to go or not to go with them.

Luongo in net I LOVE LOVE LOVE Panthers here. Not worried about the back-to-back. Bhawks have been pretty solid vs Sharks. I worry about a little flat spot; coming off a 3-0 road trip can do that to you.

SanDiegoBruinsD

I like Cats and BH, but not getting enough value with BH (-145). BH have a way of taking the night off occasionally so unless it’s a good value I won’t tip them.

I’ve gone for a Flames and Bruins double! Good luck!

Henry Del Valle Sr.

My picks tonight: TB ML…Bishop back in net and Bolts can take care of biz in MTL.
Dallas ML — getting a great price here against the struggling Wild. Stars need a goalie to stop some pucks as Niemi/Lehtonen have been suspect. Stars win 5-4 in a super-duper nailbiter!
FLA ML – Luongo back in net and Panthers have had great success in Buffalo.
Anaheim/Phil Over – 4/5 meetings have sailed over the total, I have a slight lean on the Ducks to bounce back and win as Anaheim has won 5 straight from the gentlemen of Philadelphia.
LAKings ML — Lucic goes back home and Kings take care of business as Bruins have been suspect at home.
NYI/CBJ Over 5.5 — I think we could see 9 goals here. NYI have been scoring in bunches and I do not see that stopping against a putrid CBJ defense.

SanDiegoBruinsD

I like the picks. I think Cats and Caps have good value too. good luck

Arto Reinikainen

Just as bad of a last night as i feared, went 0-3.

9 picks of 12 were ok

Henry Del Valle Sr.

That’s pretty good! Well done

It is not bad with 9/12, but in the long rung, just picking out the team which you believe will win, is a losing strategy. You have to pick out the teams only, and just only, out of the value. Even though you are 80% sure your team will win, if the value is not there, it is a bad move to bet them.

Hi, Thank you! I am doing statistics everyweek. Trying to watch highlights etc and put my minds here to share with others. I never bet on so many games. I pick 1 or max 2 and put some money on them. I earn less but it is always better than nothing.

I ll come with my new picks today and am working really hard on it. I ll share my picks on tonight picks least 2 hrs before the games.

Wow, lots of activity today both on the ice and in the comments!

I’ve been getting beat up lately and should be listening to all you guys more often. Luckily for me, basketball (not my sport) has been bailing me out.

Going for a couple of parlays today to get back in the groove.

I like Chicago and Calgary both at -1.5 tonight. Calgary is facing the Leafs after a blockbuster trade which will hopefully shake up the dressing room and things are always tricky out West for “Canada’s Team”. Chicago is always fun to watch, and despite San Jose being tough at home, the wide open style tends to help the Hawks’ cause.

I am also taking both Dallas and the Islanders on the road. Dallas looks to be getting back in a groove and with the old vs. new franchises facing off, I’m looking for a high scoring game. The Isles are in Columbus, but I’m looking for the same team that beat the Oilers soundly to show up again.

As mentioned below, I too think the Capitals are showing good value against Nashville on the moneyline and so will look to them to round out the night.

Go big or go home right? …. right?
