A good night for us last night as we went 2-1 but both wins were close.

Our first tip was the Stars to win in regulation against the Flames. The Stars entered the 3rd up 2-0 and held on for the 2-1 win thanks to the Flames going 0-5 on the powerplay.

We had the Bruins to beat the Flyers which they did winning 3-2 thanks to a Brett Connolly goal with less than 2 minutes left in  the game.

Our loss came when we had the Habs to beat the Blue Jackets but as usual the Habs lost, this time 5-2 to the worst team in the league.

Sorry for the delay and I have to keep these short.

9 games today so let’s have another winning night.

Avalanche vs Sharks Betting Tips:

With Varlamov getting the night off, the Avs are going with Pickard.

And with the Sharks strong run of late, 7-1-2 over their last 10,  you have to like their chances in this one

Sharks in regulation

Blackhawks vs Hurricanes Betting Tips:

Hawks seem to be ready to pick up where they left off after having their winning streak snapped.

The Hurricanes have been up and down  all season.  This is the last game for both teams before the all star break and I like the Hawks chances

Blackhawks win

$25 risk free bets on player prop, in-game bet and $50 risk free mobile bet. Available for NEW customers only at BetOnline.

Ducks vs Bruins Betting Tips:

Bruins are ranked third overall in goals per game.  The Ducks had a miserable start and their goals per game has them ranked last.

But the Ducks have came to life and have been scoring goals of late.

Not a good night last night, but let’s get back in the saddle:
Bs ML – good win in PHL will carry over and short trip back to Boston won’t hurt them. Whether Rask goes b2b or Gustavsson starts Bs are confident. They are healthy and new line combos seem to be clicking. Anderson is confirmed for Ducks and his road record is not good going 2-7-2 and 2.65 GAA.
Bs O2.5 – Bs have been scoring 3+ lately
Bs ML 1st – Ducks are a slow starting team and the Bs will come out buzzing
Bs score first

BH O2.5 – the only value in this game at my site is -125 O2.5 and I’m not confident in the O5, but I like the BH to win and score at least 3 against Lack who can have a bad night.

BH -1.5 – Crawford has been insane and BH has potential to pour in the goals against Lack, who is often “lacking”

Good value in Yotes and Devils ML. Devils and Schneider have been playing really well and you never know which Pens team shows up. Yotes are not as bad as record indicates and Jets are bad and Hellebuyck has been terrible lately. I’m combining these in a low unit round robin parlay with some less risky plays.

AVs/Sharks – I can’t get “in reg” so no value here.

good luck boys

grant

Bodog jumped Bruins/Ducks over 5 to -135…i’ll pass on those odds.

The Wild cost me a biggie last night, thanks mainly to Dubnyk’s bonehead play with just over a minute remaining in regulation time and the Wild on a pp, leading 1-0. Actually not sure if Columbus can be classified as the worst team in the league.

Very very interesting night coming up. Going to go all out before the all-star break, here’s my preview of every game:

Ducks @ Bruins – If Gus is in net for the Bruins i feel pretty good about the Ducks. Both teams are playing well but Boston have had problems with Anaheim losing 3 in a row (and 6 of past 8). I don’t think fatigue factor comes into play that much, the Bruins have been good on back-to-back’s this year but it’s definitely a plus for the Ducks. Anaheim gained some road confidence with a one goal win over the Red Wings recently. I like the trend of Ducks domination to continue with a close win in regulation. 2.7 odds not too shabby.

Devils @ Penguins – Devils are very impressive at the moment but so are the Pens at home, not necessarily playing the best hockey, but getting it done on the scoreboard. It has kinda felt like the Pens from couple years ago when they were a monster at home and most of the time seemed unbeatable when they get that crowd going. Pens will see the Devils as a good challenge tonight as they should, Schneider is always a tough nut to crack. I like Pens to come out with a close victory, but that being said i don’t think this game is worth playing with the odds available. If the Devils morale is exceptionally high that’s always scary and most of the time makes you unbeatable in regulation, puck bouncing your way etc. But no way to know for sure since i don’t have access to their locker room.

Blackhawks @ Hurricanes – I only see one reason why the Blackhawks would lose this game and that is if they focus too much on showing they’re the better team after that earlier loss vs the Canes this season. What i mean by that is overpassing, defense joining the rush too much and just overall not playing very smart. That could potentially mean OT. But im not too concerned about this, i mean the Hawks had beaten the Canes 4 times in a row before that one loss. I doubt they feel like they have much to prove, rather just be focused on getting the W. 2.15 is a pretty good value.

Blue Jackets @ Canadiens – Yesterday i went with a Columbus win in regulation despite them having just 4 regulation wins in the past 2 months. Risky i know, but it was fun to see a game like that go exactly the way you predicted it. Today’s game is a lot tougher though.. Im sure there will be at least one player pissed off today and that’s P.K. Subban lol. Im thinking Montreal can return the favor and go out on a high note, i mean if they aren’t ready for war after a game like that then i’d say that’s the season. I wouldn’t bet on them though, as the odds are kinda poor. The BJ’s are playing without any kind of pressure right now and have played well recently, there’s a decent chance they have a very opportunistic game. This is one of those 55-45 games, in other words just not worth it. But worth watching i guess.

Sabres @ Senators – Now this could be the upset of the night. Sabres are on a losing streak, couple of depressing losses, back-to-back meanwhile Sens are coming off of a good win vs the Rangers and they’re slightly the better team in my opinion despite all the injuries. Anderson vs Lehner favors Ottawa. Basically everything suggests the Sens should have an easy time tonight. But that’s exactly why my pick is Buffalo in regulation. It’s just one of those games that don’t make any sense, but from Buffalo’s point of view there’s nothing that could get any worse and getting back on the ice quickly after last night is just a positive in my opinion, meanwhile Ottawa knows this should be their game but it’s never easy like that and let’s be honest, just because they beat a sleeping Rangers team that doesn’t mean they’ve played well recently. I can already picture Lehner with a 40-save performance against his old team and the ex-Senator Legwand with the GWG, lol. Kinda of boom or bust pick, but im sticking with it.

Maple Leafs @ Panthers – Congrats to Barkov on his new contract, and a solid one at that. Everything seem to be in Florida’s favor for this game. Because it’s the first game of the season between these Division-rivals i don’t see the Panthers sleeping on this one. To me it should be a statement game, “you don’t come to our building and steal points from us, got it?”. I never like betting on below 2 odds though and games that seem so sure are always dangerous, so im probably going to pass on this one and regret it later.

Coyotes @ Jets – Arizona has to be tired, i mean they’ve just played 2 tough games in the last 3 nights and have had no time to rest for this game. If the Jets aren’t going to come out hard and take advantage in front of their loud home crowd to get out of this slump im not sure what to say. Scheifele’s back which gives them some more scoring ability. Domingue’s played a lot recently and he has to be due to have a bad game and those typically come after a near-shut out. Im not expecting a blowout, but if the Jets mess up this game then im boycotting them for the rest of the year.

Predators @ Canucks – Preds all the way. They’ve found their game and confidence, especially Rinne. Canucks get back Sutter but without Henrik&Hamhuis they’re by far the worse team. Vancouver have played well recently though, and this is why the Preds should see them as a good challenge tonight. Everything seem to be in place for the Preds, better team better goalie and motivation is good. So why not ?

Avalance @ Sharks – Im kind of debating between the Avs and OT. Avs are awesome defensively right now and pot in the needed goals. I don’t think Pickard in net is to make the Sharks time winning this game any easier, if anything it gives the Avs the underdog position and they’ll be ready to fight for the W. Once they get the lead it’s not easy to score on them, and i see the Avs having easier time to get the lead tonight. I think im going for it, 3.4 odds are nice.

So to recap:

Ducks
Penguins
Blackhawks
Canadiens
Sabres
Panthers
Jets
Predators
Avalanche
Wouldn’t mind to hit a 9-game parlay lol.

Well anyway, have a good break and good luck everyone !

Hi. Very nice NHL tips yesterday, and before! Thx 🙂

Josh Bona Jona Jones

I’m going to do something I rarely do tonight and go with a double.
CHI Blackhawks Win (Inc. OT)
FLA Panthers Win (Inc. OT)
Very hard to overlook these two tonight I think!
The Blackhawks seem to have shaken of their 2 game loosing streak on the road against the Panthers and the Lightening by winning 2-0 against the Blues @ the United Centre. The key man being Crawford with an exceptional 7th shut out of the year. Florida have looked awesome on the offense recently beating last years Stanley Cup Finalists in consecutive games and even shut out the Blackhawks. Again another top goal tender in Roberto Luongo.

I can see the Blackhawks having another potential shutout tonight and the Panthers being too hot for a poor Maple Leafs side!

Good luck fellas!

Canucklehead

I’m also going to stretch a greedy double

Chicago (-1.5)
Florida (-1.5)
I just see both teams playing really well and back on track against teams that are struggling up and down.

Ducks/Bruins – Devils/Penguins – Yotes/Jets
All seem too close to call for me which scares me off.

BJ’s/Habs
Montreal is just too unpredictable right now though they are due for some revenge. I would look to the under in this game as I see Columbus playing a pretty greasy road game.

Sabres/Sens
I see both goalies standing on their heads both with something to prove. Go with the under

Preds/Canucks
I’m too emotionally invested in Vancouver in addition to them being way too unpredictable keeps me away from this game.

Avs/Sharks
I like the Sharks on the ML in this one. They’ve always been a very strong home team and seem to have rediscovered their groove.

Josh Bona Jona Jones

You think the same way I do! Good shout my man! ??
