Well my tip of the Blackhawks to win didn’t come through.

This was a good, close game that needed OT where the Lightning won 5-4.  The Hawks scored 3 in the first, the Lightning scored 3 in the second.  The Hawks lost both games in Florida.  With the win the Lightning moved within 1 point of the 8th place Bruins.

The Flames beat the Avalanche 4-2.  The Blues beat the Coyotes 4-1.  The Red Wings won 4-3 in OT against the Hurricanes. The Sabres beat the Panthers 4-2.

A busy night tonight with 11 games.  And a couple big games going on.

Capitals vs Wild Betting Tips:

At first glance I was a fan of the Caps to win.

But their road game has been pretty bad of late winning only once in the last 4.

The Wild have had some bad luck recently going 2-7-1 over their last 10 games and riding a 3 game losing streak into this one.  But in those 3 losses they have still managed to score goals. They’re still in the playoffs but need to snap out of this play before the postseason starts.

The Caps can score and during this win streak only one of those game has been under 5 goals.

Overall on the year the Caps are ranked 2nd in GPG and the Wild are 3rd. With the Over/Under at 5 I like the over more than a Caps win so that’s the tip.

Over 5

Canada: 1.70 Odds at BetOnline.
USA: -160 Odds at Bovada
Everyone Else: 1.70 Odds at BetOnline.

Since writing this we have noticed some books are moving the line to 5.5.  Still think it’s worth it as long as odds are above 2.20.

Red Wings vs Hurricanes Betting Tips:

For the Wings this will be their 3rd game in as many nights with the first 2 needing OT.  And their last 4 games have needed OT so I’m sure fatigue will play a factor in this game.

The Hurricanes are on an 11 game point streak and are making a push for the playoffs.  The have 80 points which leaves them 4 out.

But I like their chances in this one against a tired Red Wings team.

Hurricanes win in regulation

Canada: 1.80 Odds at Sports Interaction
USA: -125 Odds at Bovada
Everyone Else: 1.80 Odds at Bet365 (Americans: We recommend http://www.bovada.lv

Panthers vs Maple Leafs Betting Tips:

This is the 4th meeting of these teams this year with the Leafs winning the first 3 and the Panthers pounding the Leafs in the last game 7-2.

The Leafs have had a good run of late going 7-2-1 in their last 10 games and has them in 3rd in the Atlantic but only 1 point ahead of the Bruins who sit in the 8th and final playoff spot.

The Leafs will need to finish the season strong  to stay where they are and they have had good success against the Panthers this season.  Plus the last game should have the Leafs looking for revenge.

Leafs win in regulation

Canada: 2.10 Odds at Bet365 (Americans: We recommend http://www.bovada.lv
USA: +100 Odds at BetOnline.
Everyone Else: 2.10 Odds at Bet365 (Americans: We recommend http://www.bovada.lv

Sens ML @ 2.11 (early in the morning)

Parlay:
Habs ML & Jackets ML @ 2.25

I also like B’s but I have to look it better, and if so, it’s have to be in reg. The over is also a possibility.

GLTA

SanDiegoBruinsD

Bs suck.

Caesium

Lol. Relax. They still in the fight for a playoff spot. But I’ll probably pass this one. The ML odd has no value and reg is too risky.

BensonD

Todays tip!

Edmonton ML -125

GLTA!!

Ankkabyyri

I had a green night last night as i had Buffalo in reg + Calgary -1,5.
For today i’ve been thinking these:
Leafs – Panthers o5.5 @1.80
Edmonton ML @1.80
Im thinking about adding Carolina in reg @1.80 also.. thoughts?

Marcus9180

I think Carolina in reg is a great choice.

SanDiegoBruinsD

In my opinion there is better value on the board

Ankkabyyri

Decided to not pick Carolina, since i see Howard much better than Ward.

Western RattlersD

I’m holding off on Carolina because the situation with Detroit is so rare, and who knows what Detroit’s thinking. Having won the first two of a three games in three days situation, they may consider this their Stanley Cup event and win tonight, just going berserk with everything they have. Might as well. Carolina is now on a B2B and they lost yesterday at home, to Detroit, so Carolina can’t be too hungry (or too capable) to make the playoffs.

LostRebel

Carolina was yesterday unlucky, I think they will get in the play offs, they play some strong hockey last games

Petri Kontiola

No tips from me tonight.
I have some picks but i keep them for my own.
Also i expect some great tips from Michael and disqus_AODnr9l2hr.

LostRebel

I like to hear your tips!

Ben862

I agree. Combo in Reg is too risky for me but a lot of his underdogs often come through.

LostRebel

The combo in reg is for me also to risky, but I always like to pick one of his underdog bets! Gave me some good wins

Raivo

Here man , im watching your tips for past few weeks, and i really like them! If you dont win ,most of the times u are very close! Dont listen to some dumbasses and keep the great work! Peace! ))

Klaaa

Aight, then there is no point betting today. Ill wait some other day, when you will post tips. Gl to thoes fckers who ruined this with they shit talk.

LostRebel

I think hè would today go with: senators, predators and rangers

Petri Kontiola

Hahaha! Nice try.:)) Refresh for photo!comment image

LostRebel

Im gonna take this one

Raivo

Ill take this!

LostRebel

So close again!

Smoking Barrel

Nice picks S&G. What do you think about Ducks in regulation? Not very steady in away games, but Canucks are terrible at home, (last win more than a month ago) plus several missing players.

Jake Smith

I was thinking ducks but the rookies/replacement players make me nervous as they have great chemistry , I think the canucks might get the upset on this one but it’s just a hunch

SanDiegoBruinsD

Ducks (41-23-11) are on 7-0-1 run, Bernier is 9-1-1, 1.71 goals-against average, .943 saves percentage and one shutout since replacing Gibson. Ducks tuning up for playoff run. If they earn one point they clinch. I don’t think they’ll let up tonight.

Jake Smith

Like I said you’re probably right about it being a no brainer

SanDiegoBruinsD

no brainer

Henry Del Valle Sr.

Also love the Under in Ducks game. The Under is 13-3 in Canucks games vs the Pacific division. 3-0 Ducks! Quack Quack

lyberis fotopoulos

torodo obvious need to win tonight against the panthers who is without motivate…what do you think???

Western RattlersD

Very tricky matchups, but here are my picks:
To WIN: Toronto and Edmonton
UNDER: Edmonton

Henry Del Valle Sr.

I have EDM locked in and have that Under penciled in as well.

SanDiegoBruinsD

Cats/TML over 6 -120 – both teams have been putting up high scores.

Cats ML +120 and small bet Cats reg +200 – they’ve been playing with great confidence and those young guys have been scoring in bunches. With McElhinney for TML Cats have a good chance.

Sabres/CBJ over 5.5 +115 – Sabres have quietly been putting together a very nice run vs some good teams. I could see them knocking off CBJ here, but I’m more comfortable with the over

Caps ML -120 – despite a little slide Caps are still the cream of the crop and the Wild have been doing a convincing impression of the Bruins (late season slide into oblivion). Great value on Caps here vs a Wild team that has lost its way.

Speaking of the Bruins, I think the Preds roll over them today. Bs have been playing poorly and have some injuries to key players. After their brief post-Claude streak they’ve settled back to the team they were before. Take Preds any way you want. Especially good value with them to score more than 2.5. Boston has been giving up goals in bunches.

Jets reg +145 – I can’t believe how much value there is here. This is a great bet. Devils are tanking and Jets keep flying along. I also like Jets to score more than 2.5

Ducks reg -120 – great value here, Nucks are diving and Ducks are flying.

GLTA

Henry Del Valle Sr.

Cannot disagree with any of your thoughts or picks. Really that down on your B’s??????? I guess I am waiting for the Preds bubble to pop. I know Rask has struggled against Nash and the Preds seem to have Boston figured out. I think I will try your Jets in REG play. That really has a tono f value and, as you say, the Devils are looking ahead to the golf course. Good luck!

SanDiegoBruinsD

I have no confidence in the Bs. They’ve got some injuries, are mixing up the lines (chemistry) Rask has been hurt and not playing well…blah, blah

Henry Del Valle Sr.

I had a feeling Bs would come out fired up. Lol

SanDiegoBruinsD

They brought it last night for sure. As a fan I’m happy, as a bettor…well.

Western RattlersD

Winnipeg gets Laine back tonight, so that will help, and NJ is finished. But will Winnipeg turn it on, on the road? I consider it a positive lean, not sure of the pick yet.

SanDiegoBruinsD

Byfuglien back as well. Jets are eliminated and will be playing loose. Could be a high scoring game.

Western RattlersD

That’s a strong lean, for sure, the Ducks to win. It only fails if Anaheim fails to show up. If they do, it’s in the bank.

Jake Smith

I like it! I took your jets pick youre right about the odds also took the sabre pick probably gonna stay away from the ducks and canucks even though you’re probably right about it being a no brainer

Mojo

Habs, Leafs Oilers all in reg? It hits right?

SanDiegoBruinsD

I wouldn’t touch those picks with Chara’s stick, but good luck.

Mojo

Really?! Feel really good about all of them. Honestly the 3 I could feel the best about.

SanDiegoBruinsD

Stars are awful on the road, but they are 4-2 in last 6. Price is not playing well–given up 3 goals in 3 of the last 5. I could see this going either way.

Leafs and Cats have both been playing well and scoring a lot of goals. Leafs have Mcihenney in net and he’s leaky. I see a shootout, but it’s difficult to pick a side.

Kings are bad and are terrible vs teams with winning records. Of the three games, this is probably the best option. I’m putting some coin on Oilers.

Chris K.D

Damn great job dude I gotta start following you more often

Mojo

Do it up 😉

Bulletproof

Great picks !

Mojo

Thanks buddy

Chris K.D

Ouch. Followed all these lost a ton. What’s your record?

SanDiegoBruinsD

Very sorry Chris, I bet each one of these tips as well. I felt good about these plays, but things did not go our way last night. Hockey is a tough game to bet, the most erratic of them all. good luck. SDB

Johnny Hockey
