Rough night of betting last night but that’s the variance of hockey – just one week ago Graeme had went 4-0. It was a good night for fans of the NHL with some really great action.
The Canadiens continued their amazing run beating the Buffalo Sabres 3-2. They have won 5 straight and haven’t lost in regulation in 11 games. The Maple Leafs beat the rival Ottawa Senators 4-3 and have now won 2 in a row and are thankfully turning their horrible play of late around. And the Battle Of Alberta saw the Flames come out on top of the Oilers 2-1 in OT in a great, tight game.
A decent Sunday of NHL action for us today with 5 games taking place.
The Blackhawks look to stop their 3 game skid when they welcome the Panthers into town who are on a surprising 2 game win streak. The Bruins and Leafs square off and anytime these original six rivals play it’s always a great and rough game.
But let’s get to the NHL betting tips for Sunday, December 8th 2013
Panthers vs Blackhawks: Blackhawks -1.5
This will be the game the Hawks turn their slump around and it couldn’t come at a better time for the Hawks who are quickly losing the lead in the Western Conference with the Ducks and Sharks closing in quickly on them in the standings.
Last time these teams played ended in a 3-2 Chicago victory. Look for the Hawks to jump to an early lead an not look back. With the exception of Andrew Shaw, Chicago comes into this game relatively healthy and rested. Florida is also healthy and are coming into this game riding a 2 game win streak after their win over the Red Wings last night.
The Blackhawks will use this game to remind the world why they have won the Stanley Cup twice in 4 years. Bet the Blackhawks -1.5 at http://www.5Dimes.eu for Americans(Need to register to see lines) and and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else. for 2.05 betting odds.
Bruins vs Maple Leafs: Goal Before 9:30
This is going to be the game of the night.
Both of these are coming off of wins last night, the Bruins over the Penguins and the Leafs over the Sens.
The Bruins won the last matchup 3-1 on November 9th and with the Leafs finally back on track this game could go either way.
I like an early goal as both teams are going to be pushing the pace to try and win this thing and gain some ground on the red hot Habs.
Sharks vs Wild: Sharks Win
The time is now for the Sharks to win with the Blackhawks on a slump and with them only being 2 points back of the Western Conference lead.
The Wild have been up and down all season while the Sharks have been a strong team all year.
This is the first meeting between these two this year. The last game they played was in April and the Sharks won 6-1.
