Went 1-2 last night but could have been 2-1 or 3-0. But at least our win came from the best odds of the three.

We had the Penguins to beat the Rangers but the Rangers won it 4-3 in OT on a goal by Kevin Klein. Earlier in the game Klein had to get 13 stitches to reattach a chunk of his ear only to come back and win it.

We also had the Canes to beat the Devils but the Devils came away with the 2-1 win. Jaromir Jagr had a goal and an assist to move into 5th place on the all time points list with 1772 points.

Our win came when we had the St. Louis Blues -1.5 over the Panthers and the Blues won 4-2. Good odds for that win of 2.35.

Nice full night of hockey with 10 games. Let’s get to the tips.

Blackhawks vs Devils Betting Tips

The Hawks have been on fire. The have outscored their opponents 22-9 over their 6 game winning streak and are 9-1 over the last 10 games.

The Devils played, and won, last night but have had a rough stretch going 3-5-2 over 10.

The Hawks are really clicking right now and come into this game rested. Also Patrick Sharp is expected to make his return to the third line. How much depth this team has when Sharp is a third liner when he could easily be top line on any team in the league.

Going to go with the Hawks to continue rolling and pick up the win in this game. No value here for a Hawks win at 1.57.

So to up the odds let’s take the Blackhawks in Regulation for 1.87 at Bovada for Americans and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else.

Capitals vs Lightning Betting Tips

Two of the games best goal scorers in this one with Ovechkin and Stamkos. These teams last played each other on November 1st with the Lightning coming away with the 4-2 win.

Tampa Bay has scored 98 goals so far this year which easily leads the league in that department. Washington has 74.

This is going to be a good game with two high scoring teams. And you know the Stamkos and Ovie will be trying to one up each other.

Over 5.5 for 1.87 at Bovada for Americans and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else.

Predators vs Avalanche Betting Tips

Two teams who have surprised with the success, or lack of, they have had so far this season.

When Rinne is healthy and plays there are few better then him at what he does. The Preds are scoring this year which is a change for them but they still play a strong defensive game having only let 54 goals go by them.

The Avs come into this game with a bunch of injuries and on a 3 game losing streak. They need to look to tighten things up and get back into the win column. I still have faith in them despite their bad start.

I don’t see a lot of goals in this game. And it will end in the 3-4 goal range.

Under 5.5 for 1.73 at Bovada for Americans and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else.

Thinking of going with the under 55.5 goals on the grand salami. Seems to me that lots of equally strong teams are playing one another today and I don’t expect to be much scoring. Any comment is welcome to this. 🙂

Ya I like that. With the exception of a couple games all should be low scoring. The grand salami wasn’t available when I wrote these.

Not getting great value for Hawks in regulation. Thinking about taking the handicap at 2.60. I don’t see the game going to overtime and I see the hawks winning, so even a close game should give an empty netter a chance to push the -1.5. Thoughts?

i hope that first Croat in NHL will be scoring for avalanche tonight, so for good faith i’ll skip that match 😛
