Another 1-2 night for the tips last night when Detroit beat Buffalo 3-1 and Carolina beat Ottawa 4-1.

We won with our tip of the Red Wings beating the Sabres but that was it. We tipped the Away teams to score more goals but Ottawa let us down and the Home teams outscored the Away teams 5-4. If Ottawa could have kept it closer we would have won that bet plus our bet of the Grand Salami over 10.5

But tonight we have a nice full schedule of games with 9 on. Some big ones are taking place tonight and will be must watch TV. The Boston Bruins welcome the Pittsburgh Penguins into town and this game is going to be great. These are the last two Stanley Cup champions from the Eastern Conference and also favorites to represent the Eastern Conference in this year’s final.

Also tonight we get the Maple Leafs looking to avenge their loss against the Blue Jackets, the Rangers and Lightning face off and both teams are in 3rd in their respective divisions and also the Blackhawks are in Edmonton to play the Oilers and Graeme is in Edmonton and is going to this game.

Let’s get to the tips for tonight’s action

Blackhawks vs Oilers: Blackhawks to Win

Not only is Graeme going to this game but in true Graeme fashion he likes to be the asshole in the opposing team’s jersey at games. So he asked to borrow one of my Blackhawks for the game and I hope he doesn’t get any blood on it when he is getting his ass kicked.

The Blackhawks come into this game in second overall in both the West and the league while the Oilers are in last in the West and 2nd last in the league.

This is the 2nd of 3 meetings between these two with the Hawks winning the first one 5-4 in Chicago. The Hawks are really starting to hit their stride and are reminding people why they won the cup last year. Although the Oilers come into this game on a 3 game win streak it will end tonight when the Hawks come out on top.

Great odds for this one at 1.70 for the Blackhawks win. Make this bet at Bovada for Americans and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else.

Penguins vs Bruins: Penguins To Win

This is going to be an amazing game no matter who wins. The Bruins are in first in the East while the Penguins are in second.

The Penguins won the first game 3-2 and will play the Bruins only once more and that game is in December. By winning tonight, the Penguins would win the season series no matter the outcome of the third game. This may be a preview of the Eastern Conference Finals and how awesome would that be

We are going with the Penguins in this one not only because we think they will come out on top but also for the odds.

Blue Jackets vs Maple Leafs: Leafs To Score First

The Maple Leafs are in a bit of a funk as of late and their record over the last 10 games is 5-4-1 and are starting to lose ground in the Eastern Conference.

The Blue Jackets are getting smashed with the injury bug right now. On the list of injuries is; James Wisniewski, Marian Gaborik, Brandon Dubinsky, Nathan Horton just a bunch of their best players out.

The Leafs are going to use this game as a way to turn their recent luck around and not only will they score first they will win the game.
