Well we finally for back to winning last night going 2-1 with the tips

We had the Bruins to win in regulation time but the Habs has other plans beating the Bruins with ease 4-1

Our wins came from the Penguins beating the Kings 4-1 and the Capitals – Blue Jackets game going over 5.5 goals in the Jackets 5-2.

Today we have 5 games taking place: Islanders – Rangers, Blues – Hurricanes, Capitals – Red Wings, Devils – Predators and the Canucks vs the Jets. A couple interesting matchups in there and a few that are tough to predict.

But let’s start another winning streak with the NHL tips for Friday, January 31st.

OHL Betting Tips:

Quick note that Graeme is doing OHL Betting Tips again. OHL is the Ontario Hockey League, and the lines are usually really bad in terms of how they are set, so there is potential for a lot of profit.

However the OHL Odds are usually not released until late on – for example, NHL odds are usually up by 11am EST while OHL odds can be as late as 5pm EST.

Where possible, we will be including them within the tips. However outside of that, be sure to follow us on Twitter or Facebook where we will post them.

As for where to bet OHL – you need an account at Unibet. They offer £25 in free bets and are one of the only sportsbooks that offer OHL Betting.

Tonight, Graeme likes the Erie Otters in regulation to beat the Owen Sound Attack. 1.42 odds for that one. Also the Guelph Storm 1.20 odds in regulation to beat the Sarnia Sting. Obviously both are short odds picks, so combine both of them in a double for 1.7 odds.

Even if you’re not a fan of OHL(as I expect 99.9% of our readers aren’t), it’s worth putting a small amount on there to take the free bets, and win some money. The value is incredible for some of the games.

Take 5 minutes to register at Unibet and use up the free bet money on lots of short odds picks.

Onto the NHL…

Blues vs Hurricanes: Blues to Win and Blues to win in regulation

With four games in hand on the conference and NHL leading Ducks the Blues can climb from third in the west and overall to a tie with the Ducks.

The Blues have the western conferences best record against the east having only lost 3 games with a 17-3-1 record against the east

The should win this won against a much weaker Hurricanes club and push their winning streak to 4 games

Getting decent odds for the Blues to win at 1.74 but for added value lets take them to win in regulation

Blues to win in Regulation for 2.20 betting odds at Unibet. Or you could bet both for combined odds of 3.94. Go BLUES!

Islanders vs Rangers: Over 5.5

In a rematch of the Stadium Series played just 2 nights ago, we expected that game to go over but thanks to the weather and the outdoor experience at Yankee Stadium it stayed under in the Rangers 2-1 win.

This time though they are back inside and we expect the goals to be coming.

The Rangers have been one of the best teams this year, or month I should say, and are on a 2 game winning streak after sweeping the Stadium games

The Isles can score goals but just can’t stop them from being scored on them.

The Rangers should win this game but 1.57 odds makes it not worth it.

But for Over 5.5 goals we are getting 1.95 betting odds so bet that at Unibet.

Well, rough day. Isles/Rangers decide to stop scoring 2 games in a row? Ugh.

At least I won on the Salami today, though barely (28 goals just got me the over 27.5)…

Yeah not a good day. Canes looked great last night it has to be said.

Nice one on the Salami. One of our favourite entertainment bets because it has you just glued to hockey all day cheering on the goals. Whenever heading out to a bar make sure to always put that on.

Oh well won the OHL one at least so not all bad.
