The Leafs did it! They finally managed to see off the Ottawa Senators, and move on to face Florida. It’s one of those series that Leafs fans are freaking out about after the way the Sens results went – but man, I just have a sneaky feeling about those Leafs. I’ll wait until we’re analyzing it, but I have a feeling I’m going to say to hell with the metrics, and back Toronto to shithouse their way through.
Had to laugh with both of us having MacKinnon over 4.5 shots. Avs had about 9 billion SOG that game and he only had 2. Delightful.
Oilers continued their momentum and got the solid win in regulation over the Kings to move on.
A Game 6 tonight with the Jets at the Blues.

Scott: This series has been much closer than expected. Each game has been won by the home team. Was nice to see Hellebuyck not get pulled after having that happen in the previous 2 games.
The Jets won the first 2 by a combined 7-4 score and the Blues won their home games by a combined score of 12-3.
With game 6 in St Louis and with the way this has gone I’m fine following the trend and taking the Blues to force a game 7.

Graeme: I’ve been on the “momentum” kick lately and it’s served me well. But do the Jets have the momentum? Really tough to tell.
Well one thing is for sure – Hellebuyck is still shitting the bed. It’s weird but in my head, I keep picturing like a 3-0 or 4-0 Jets rout here – not sure why. And they shut them out – like I think the Blues will panic or something.
Anyway that’s what I think – but I’m gonna go with Over 5.5 regardless just based on Hellebyucks play, and that the Jets are realizing they need to score a ton. It’s sound theory – my gut is just saying different. Maybe they’ll win 6-0.

God damn I hate the Panthers against the Leafs, Is this year different??? Its just the size and physicality of the Panthers, now add Marchand to that to haunt them a little more….
