A nice night yesterday as both our individual bets came in. The Blues got the easy win, while putting the game over practically by themselves.

It leads to a very exciting Game 7, where the Jets need to channel what made it work for them in the prior game.

I feel bad for Hellebuyck as all the attention is focused on him and he is getting the blame, but it’s a team effort and the Jets as a whole aren’t helping him out.

We have the Stars vs Avs tonight in Game 7.

Stars vs Avs Game 7

Scott: The Avs won the first game, lost the next 2 in overtime and have traded wins since. And we now get a game 7.

Game 6 was a back and forth battle much like this series has been. MacKinnon threw a puck into traffic which took a crazy bounce and went off of a few Stars players and eventually past Oettinger.

I originally called the Avalanche to win the series and said they would do so in 6 games. Well that isn’t going to happen but I still like their chances.

Avalanche win incl OT

Graeme: I loaded this one up and immediately thought “I have no idea how I feel about this series”.

Not the best start. Sat down and went through all previous games, metrics, and game thoughts to try and get my head in the right place. I was very confident in the Avs to take the series and had Avs -1.5. This was due to sheer dominance in the metrics and I said for the Stars to have any chance, their offense would have to overproduce.

Well – that has actually proven to be incorrect. Stars HAVEN’T had to do that – and their offense has actually underproduced. 2.66 GF/60 off an xGF/60 of 3.28. Only really the one game (Game 2) where they stepped up big like that. The rest has just been – man, a series of sort of bizarro results.

Anyway – by the overall metrics for the series, it’s still in the Avs favour in every single metric. Furthermore, they juuuuust won their backs against the wall, must-win game.

I think the odds STINK for this one however, considering they are on the road, and the way the results have flip-flopped. Tony Bet at least step up. I’m so glad we have started working with them as their odds have been superb. They promised me I wouldn’t regret it during the NHL playoffs and they are delivering.

I will take the -EV bet. Although I based this comments on the 1.71 odds. 1.80 odds makes it easier to swallow. Avs incl OT

Ontario: 1.80 Odds at TonyBet
Canada: 1.80 Odds at TonyBet
USA: -135 Odds at BetOnline.
Everyone Else: 1.71 Odds at Bet365 (Americans: We recommend http://www.bovada.lv

(Odds correct as of 2025/05/03 8:29:10 AM EST but are subject to change.)

How come Stars are underdogs at home in a game 7 match? 🤔

Matt Aubrey

Only my opinion BUT most metrics lean in favour of Avs. Also, Dallas coach has never lost a game 7 in NHL career and MacKinnon has never won a game 7 in career …. So naturally the contrarion says this time is different

Im going Avs – Moneyline
Over 5.5 total

Nice win there for sure. Has to hurt that it was Rantanen to light them up like that. At least my over came in…. I thought it was gonna be another dud of a hockey bet night! LOL
