All Star weekend was a blast as it always is. There was lots of fun being had and its a great way for fans of the game to see their favorite players away from the pressures of the game.

Shea Weber finally won the hardest shot comp clocking in at over 108mph. Jonathan Drouin was the fastest skater and Pat Kane won the Accuracy challenge

Team Foligno beat Team Toews in the Skills competition but Toews’ team won the game 17-12. Tavares tied the record for goals scored in an all star game with four and Voracek tied the record for points with 6

Ovechkin wanted to be picked last badly as the last player picked gets a new car. Well of course the Internet was blowing up about how greedy of him he makes millions yada yada. But the real reason was so that he could donate the car to the Washington Ice Dogs, a local hockey program for children and young adults with physical and developmental disabilities. Once Honda found this out the gave him a new car which Ovechkin quickly destroyed with punches and kicks like the bonus stage of Street Fighter. No he didn’t. He donated the car and good for him. Guy gets a bad rap but he did an awesome thing.

Now that we are back to the regular season it’s crunch time for some teams. And after a break like that we are treated to 11 games tonight.

Rangers vs Islanders Betting Tips

Both teams come into this game on fire. The Isles are in 2nd in the East, 1st in the Metro and are 7-3 over the last 10. The Rangers are 8-2 and have looked unstoppable at times.

With the goal clinic the Tavares put on in the all star game you have to think that it may translate to him catching fire.

Both teams are rested and ready to go. With the extra time off, both teams on fire and the intense rivalry between the two I like this game to be high scoring

Over 5.5 at Bovada for Americans and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else. for 1.91 betting odds

Jets vs Penguins Betting Tips

The Penguins have lost their last 4 games, the Jets have won their last 5

The Penguins have been banged up all year long but right now may be the worst it has been for them. Crosby and Letang are listed as day to day while Malkin, Hornqvist, Matta, Comeau and more are in the IR

We have to like the Jets chances here especially if Crosby and Letang don’t play

Jets win for 1.95 at Bovada for Americans and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else.

Sabres vs Flames Betting Tips

Sabres limp into this game in a 11 game losing streak.

Gotta like the Flames here. Not much else to say

Like the Jets to take this one too. The latest line-up changes from Sportnet central: Crosby & Malkin out, Letang game-time decision and Greiss starting. If Greiss is starting, it’s a sign which game is the priority for them to win in this btob. Obviously, they’ll try to win both but have to be realistic too. A win tonight will be a challenge especially if the Jets get Perreault back (big bonus) and have more to gain saving Fleury to start in a ‘4 point’ game against division rival Caps tomorrow night. Hopefully, Okposo’s absence tonight won’t hurt your chances to get the over 5.5.
Good luck tonight!

Got lucky this morning. My site had the Jets +100 ML and -300 PL before the line completely switched over. I was all over that! I also like NYR to bounce back against Isles with Okposo out. PL for sure, but ML has good value too. some great parlays out there today, any combo of: Caps ML, Bolts ML, NYR PL, Oilers PL (Dubnyk in goal for Wild).
