Only the one tip last night and we won it.

We had the Grand Salami Over 16.5.  This was much closer than I thought it would be but it thankfully hit 17.  The Islanders pounded the Oilers 8-1 and after that game all we needed was 8 more goals from the other 2 remaining games and we got just that. The Habs game stayed really low when they won 2-1 in a shootout and the Caps beat the Flyers 3-2.

The Super Bowl was great if you are a Broncos fan as they won 24-10.  I’m now waiting on Peyton Manning to announce his intentions for his future.  You would think he would retire as you can’t leave on a higher note than winning the Super Bowl.

4 games tonight.  Let’s keep the streak alive with the NHL Betting Tips for Monday, February 8th

Ducks vs Penguins Betting Tips:

This should be a great game.

The Ducks are on fire going 8-2 over their last 10 and have won their last 6 games.  Over this winning streak they have scored 25 goals.

The Penguins have been doing OK but the Malkin injury will hurt them.  He isn’t expected to be out long term.

So far in the month of February, the Penguins have been averaging 4 goals a game.

I like this game to be high scoring.

Over 5

Devils vs Rangers Betting Tips:

The Over/Under for this game is set at 4.5.  When it’s that low you really have to take a look at it.

Over the last 10 meetings between these teams there has been an average of 5.60 goals per game.  I like that to continue in this one.

Over 4.5

Lightning vs Senators Betting Tips:

The Lightning have been playing great recently.  Over their last 10 games they’re 9-1 and are on a 3 game win streak.

The Sens are 4-6 over their last 10 but are a team that has little consistency.  So the fact that they pounded the Leafs in their last game doesn’t mean much.

They have played twice already this season and the Lightning have won both by scores of 4-1 and 5-2.

Lightning win

I personally have a hard time betting for or against the Senators. I feel like they can be very good at times, and very bad at others. I am leaning towards the over 5.5 with the odds at 2.10 in this one as both teams can score a lot, and the Sens tend to be leaky (Vasilevskiy in goal for TBL today). I do agree with your tip, however, and do like the chances of Tampa coming out with the win.

Devils/Rangers at 4.5 is definitely worth taking the over. Too bad the line has now moved to 5.0 (at sports interaction, at least). With the over 5.0 at 2.60 odds right now, it kinda makes me want to go for it anyway.

Good tips, guys!

You may as well go for the over 5 if you were gonna take the 4.5. It isn’t that big of a difference, just means it would result in a push if it lands there. If it goes under, you would have lost the 4.5 too.

It feels like a boom or bust round, but im going with Ducks&Bolts in regulation and Florida-Detroit OT.

Reason i say boom or bust is i don’t necessarily like any of these picks but i think they’re all worth it. Weird situation to be in.

Thankfully we’ll have 12 games tomorrow, and im sure there’s going to be a lot of good games to pick from.

Couple of good games today for sure.

I would have to agree with Scott’s picks. The Pens and Ducks could go either way. Ducks are on fire but never count out the Pens despite missing Malkin. Hoping for a high scorer!

Devils and Rangers is always a tough cross river affair with two amazing goalies in King Henrik and Cory. Devils are missing Cammalleri who is good for a goal but at 4.5 it’s worth a look.

I like the Bolts over the Sens too. Not much to add.

My value game is the Panthers and Wings. I think Florida is being undervalued because they’re starting Montoya and on the road, but conversely the Wings are missing both Green and Kronwall on the back end. Big Al has been doing his part for the Panthers and I feel the missing players for the Wings will have a bigger effect on the game. I’m going with Florida on the money line.
