Hi guys,
It was a disappointing 0-3 lsat night with the tips.
The underdog Caps were looking good until the start of the 3rd period, where Dallas thumped in a quick double and Washington couldn’t get back on level terms, even with a frantic last few minutes.
The Bruins had a surprise loss to the LA Kings, and the Oilers were dominant against the Blues but things didn’t go their way. That was the most frustrating of the three as Oilers were the much better team, and although it didn’t affect our bet, that offside call in OT was BS. Should never have been in that position to begin with though – we were 20 seconds away from the W there.
Three games today. Three heavy favourites. Let’s see what we got:
Wild vs Blackhawks:
Minnesota come in on a nice little run. Some good defensive work, three game winning streak. They have been solid at home this season. 9-6-1, and that’s with that brutal start ato the season.
Chicago on a B2B and struggling.
Minnesota at -1.5 isn’t even a play here unfortunately due to the odds. Even Minnesota race to 4 goals is below borderline I’d say due to being 1.74 odds. Wild should win but I’m not seeing a play involving the game unless you parlay something. If I was to pick something, it’d be Wild win the race to 3 at 1.44.
Flames vs Blues:
Flames also hefty favourites here. Can you really back them though? Coming in on a 4 ame losing run and not against the best teams either.
Blues on a B2B after last nights win. On a two game winning streak.
Advanced metrics lean towards the over. Both teams have an xGA/60 of over 3, and both scoring over 3. Blues conceding a lot more which kind of balances out the Flames only at 2.55 GF/60 over last 10.
It’s a bit borderline. Teams on a B2B kind of concern me. But in their last few B2Bs Blues have been able to put up the goals on the second leg.
Think there’s enough to go with over 6 incl OT/SO here. Especially at above 2.00. Value.
