A much better night with the tips yesterday as we went 2-0.

We had the Wild to beat the Oilers which they did 3-0.  Parise scored twice and Dubnyk made 22 saves for the shutout.  With the win and the Avalanche taking a loss the Wild clinched a playoff spot for the 6th straight year.

Our final tip of the night was over 6 in the Sabres vs Leafs game.  The Leafs won 5-2.  The Leafs are now at 103 points which tied the Leafs franchise record for points in a season.

The Sharks also clinched a playoff spot with the Avalanche losing.  This will be the Sharks 18th playoff appearance in the last 20 years.  Amazing

News broke yesterday that Henrik and Daniel Sedin have announced their retirement from  the NHL.   They have 3 remaining games, 2 of which are at home, and I’m sure they will get their deserved farewells.  I was never a fan of these two but there is no denying how great they were and what the did for the Canucks and Vancouver.  They consistently put up good numbers, have spent their entire 17 year careers in Vancouver, rank 1st in all major categories and were very charitable to the city.  It will be interesting to see what the Canucks do with all of the money they have next year and a couple young stars ready to take the next step in Horvat and Boeser.

9 games for us today but we couldn’t come up with any tips.  There is just bad odds today and nothing worth taking a risk on.  I’m sure there is something I am missing but I’ve looked through each and every game and still nothing.
