Atlantic Division Betting Odds
This is a strong division. The Lightning were incredbile during the regular season, the Bruins made the finals and the Leafs are built to be a contender for a while.
There are 8 teams in the Atlantic Division. Boston Bruins, Buffalo Sabres, Detroit Red Wings, Florida Panthers, Montreal Canadiens, Ottawa Senators, Tampa Bay Lightning and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
All the teams in the Atlantic Division are listed below and also listed are the odds for them to win the division. The odds will change but this is a list of what we find on average.

Atlantic Division Winners Betting Tips
Tampa Bay Lightning
After the season they had last year its hard to bet against the Lightning. Sure they fell apart in the playoffs but this team is stacked.
They still have Kucherov, Point and Stamkos to do most of the heavy lifting offensively and the Lightning scored the most goals in a season since 1995-96.
Hedman is a beast who will challenge for the Norris for years to come. McDonagh is a good defender also. Depth on defense may be the only hurdle this team will face. But Foote may turn into a good defenseman and has great bloodlines being Adam’s son.
Vasilevskiy is one of the best in the league and he’s only 25.
This team has no glaring weakness and have a great shot at winning the division and are our pick to do so.

Atlantic Division Betting Analysis
Toronto Maple Leafs
I would not be surprised at all if the Leafs came away winners of the division.
On offense they have arguably the best group in the league. Tavares, Matthews, Nylander and Marner are all great and young so they will develop more chemistry as time goes on.
On defense the are led by Reilly who much like the forward group is young and only getting better. Muzzin was a great addition also. Freddy Andersen had moments where he looked like the best goalie in the league but he was overworked and would benefit from less starts.
They addressed some of their issues in the offseason adding 3 defensemen which has been a Leaf weakness for a while. Barrie was a great add, Ceci will be looking for fresh start and Ben Harpur is a big stay at home type. And to the surprise of some Leaf fans they added former Senator, and enemy, Jason Spezza who will provide some center depth.

Boston Bruins
The Bruins have the best line in the league with Bergeron, Marchand and Pastrnak. Krejci had one of the best seasons of his career and Debrusk scored 27. After those players though the offense kind of dries up.
McAvoy and Carlo are young stars on defense. I’m surprised that Chara is still playing in the league. He has been an amzing defenseman but the league has changed and doesn’t work as well for players his size anymore. But you can’t take away what he offers as a leader.
Rask split duties with Halak and together they were a great set of goalies . A great top line only gets you so far and unless others step up I don’t see the Bruins winning the Division.

Florida Panthers
A young team with young stars just entering their prime. Barkov, Huberdeau, Dadonov and Trocheck are all crucial pieces of this team.
On defense they have Yandle, Ekblad, Matheson and Stralman who form a good top 4.
The Panthers lost Luongo who retired and replaced him with Bobrovsky.
A big move the Panthers made was signing head coach Joel Quenneville. He has won 3 Stanley Cups and will go down as one of the best coaches in league history.

Montreal Canadiens
The Habs didn’t do much in the offseason to help the team and are banking on continued improvement of their youngsters.
Domi, Gallagher, Kotkaniemi and others will need a monster year just for the Canadiens to make the playoffs.
Weber is still a great defenseman at 34 but the have little else back there to help them.
Price can win games by himself but hes 32 and cant be expected to play 60 games a year and stay healthy.

Buffalo Sabres
The Sabres won 10 in a row in November but still finished in 27th place in the league
Eichel had a career best 82 points and Skinner scored a career high 40. Beyond those two its hard for them to find offense. Mittelstadt and Reinhart have potential but potential won’t get them to the top of the Atlantic.
Rasmus Dahlin was great as a rookie. He was only 18 last year so the future looks bright for him. Ristolainen can be good but he seems sick of the losing on this team.
They need a young goalie to build on. Hutton and Ullmark were ok but not stealing any games.

Detroit Red Wings
Not sure how this team figures on being competitive. Larkin, Bertuzzi and Mantha as your top line with no help elsewhere is a recipe for a shitshow.
And after 15 seasons Niklas Kronwall has decided to call it a career. DeKeyser is the best they have and thats not good.
Howard was decent for them and if not for him they would have been even worse than the were.

Ottawa Senators
Best Odds for the Sens to win the Atlantic Division
Hmmm. They finished in last place in the league and did nothing in the offseason.
Tkachuk and White may have good careers but this team looks destined to be a last place team again. I mean look at the odds of them winning the division. I don’t want to beat them down anymore then they already have.
