What a great night last night with the tips as we went a perfect 3-0.

We had the Flyers to beat the Stars and they did 2-1 in OT.  This didn’t look good as the Stars got on the board first.  But Gostisbehere scored to tie it and also scored the winner in overtime.  This was the Flyers 6th straight win.

Next we had over 5.5 in the Kings vs Islanders game.  This started out great with 3 goals in the 1st.  The 2nd period saw the offense disappear but it picked back up in the 3rd with another 3 goals and the Isles won it 4-3 in OT.

The final tip of the night was the Caps to beat the Ducks. After the 2nd period it was the Ducks up 2-0.  But the Caps, as always, continued to play the way they play not changing a thing and it payed off when they tied it and forced OT.   It was Ovechkin scoring his 23rd which won it for Washington.

The NHL 100 classic happened and it was the Sens winning 3-0 outside at TD Place Stadium.  As always the outdoor games look fantastic and the snow falling on players during the game is awesome.

Only 4 games for us today.  I could only come up with one tip as the other games had nothing appealing to me.

Wild vs Blackhawks Betting Tips:

These teams have traded wins so far this season.

The Hawks have won 4 in a row and after this game they head out on a season high 6 game road trip.  They will be looking to get as many points at home as they can before they head out.

With Crawford in net and the road trip right around the corner I have to back the Hawks in this one.

Blackhawks win in regulation

+6units last night.
For tonight:
Jets, Blackhawks, Canucks and Panthers with one unit;
Laine, Boeser and Dadonov with half unit.

Johnny Hockey

Hey mate, do you play incl. OT? Or always in regulation?

magus1349

In regular season always in regulation.

istaybricking

What makes you go with the Panthers tonight?

SanDiegoBruinsD

With Gallant Marchessault and Smith playing team that dumped them you better believe that LVK will be pumped up

istaybricking

Exactly what i was thinking as well.

Oliver Trigg

Magus almost always plays underdogs every day. Think he relies on enough upsets to go positive. With hockey that’s often not an entirely bad strategy.

istaybricking

Oh okay, thanks for the explanation.

slyNHL

Last night only 3 games went over. Hate such days. Especially when they are going a day after same day with low-scoring. Practically 2 in a row.

istaybricking

Went 5/7 for my first ever picks on this forum yesterday. Hope you liked that New York win, Oliver 😉

My picks for today:

Golden Knights ML
Blackhawks ML
Canucks ML

Can see the Blues – Jets game going either way really, so staying away from that game.

If you have any remarks on my picks, please leave a comment.

Good luck to everyone tonight!

Oliver Trigg

Hahaha well done man. Always happy to see people win (unless it means me losing).. It was so so close and you can see why I distrust New York… They’re a team that gives me ulcers to watch when I bet on them. On a separate note- again odds are far from fantastic on the Hawks ML or VGK ML. Odds are more off on Hawks than VGK because they’re a riskier bet, so definitely wouldn’t be taking it on the ML. I might (on a small play) take hawks reg, but at the price for ML I won’t play Hawks. VGK odds on ML are a little more forgivable given they’re much better than Panthers and a great home side…

istaybricking

I see where you’re coming from, but it’s just so very hard for me to imagine that the Hawks won’t take this one, when the Wild are on the end of a back to back and how consistent the Hawks are playing this week.

Kris- -na

Wild are 2-0 on b2b after a loss this season.

Hawks are playing like shit, Im surprised how many people are on Hawks after only one good game they had. I wont be surprised if Wild will win this in the OT. No bet for me. BOL

SanDiegoBruinsD

Even though Blackhawks have shown some energy lately I can’t trust them and the chalk is too big.

Oliver Trigg

Waaayyy too big, to the point I would consider Wild.

SanDiegoBruinsD

Quenneville says it will be a low-chance game. The translation: Minnesota can win at a generous road/underdog price. Two evenly matched teams playing a close contest — one being double the value of the other. Try Minnesota as today’s “value” play. I did.

Oliver Trigg

I almost certainly will. This is a case of Hawks getting far too much respect.

Oliver Trigg

Fair enough, but don’t forget the Wild have still won 6 of their last 8, 4 of the last 5 in Chicago and have won their last 3 back to back games. Chicago have been consistent against who? The Jets was impressive but they’re struggling right now. Besides that, they barely managed wins against the Sabres and Panthers (needing OT) and beat the Coyotes – those are 3 bottom feeders. I wouldn’t be surprised if Hawks win this, but these odds suck.

Kris- -na

+1 My thoughts exactly

SanDiegoBruinsD

I have multi-unit ML bet on Vegas tonight. I think the human factor is huge tonight with Gallant Marchessault and Smith facing former team that discarded them they will have the entire of NHL misfits fired up. Cats have spent 2 days enjoying the “sights” of Sin City and more than one player is going to be hungover.

Oliver Trigg

Looking good so far man! Congrats!

istaybricking

Thanks dude, i just need Vegas to step up and finish this game!

Oliver Trigg

Me too man!

Oliver Trigg

Yeessss 3-2.

istaybricking

Let’s go! Believe it or not, i accidentally bet them on regulation by mistake.

Oliver Trigg

I’m took them reg because ML was poor value. Placed £200 on reg

istaybricking

That’s nice, easy money right there.

Total money betted today: £355,50
Total return: £1.262,63
Gain: £907,13

So all in all a nice night both hockey and money wise.

Oliver Trigg

Wow very good return man, I can’t even say I made that lol!

Oliver Trigg

I’m curious with that return did you parlay your picks?

istaybricking

I betted £300 on a double with Vegas Reg and Chicago ML, where i got £733 back. Then £100 on Jets ML, Blackhawks ML, Flames ML and Vegas Reg, where i got £525 back.

istaybricking

Sorry £60 on the second bet.

Oliver Trigg

Wow £100 on a 4x parlay? Risky but glad it worked out for you!

Geir Aage R Jensen

Geir project 1/8

Blackhawks win ML
Panthers win ML

Good luck everyone!

SanDiegoBruinsD

LVK everything – pay back time for Gallant Marchessault & Smith. Cats will be soft after 2 days in sin city and Fleury will stand on his head.

Calgary ML – flames break the streak

GLTA SDB

Dave Goodman

Was thinking the exact same way for LVK. Good pick brother!

SanDiegoBruinsD

GL DG

Juri

Completely agree here.

Good luck.

Johnny Hockey

> Hawks
> Vegas

Oliver Trigg

Hawks ML massively over priced in my opinion

Juri

Absolutely agree, the odds are not i place.

Vegas to win ( not sure as some injured players there ) – small bet here

Lean Flames, Hawks, Jets.

Juri

However, not much to choose for the couple of the next games.

Individual totals over for the home team, like Vegas may win.

Aren’t Jets and Blues a bit tired for the match to go to over ?

soothsayer

Last night was an awful one for me.. Let’s hope tonight will be better:

Blackhawks PL
Blackhawks – Wild under 5,5 goals
Jets – Blues over 5,5 goals

Good luck to all!

Oliver Trigg

I’m sorry for the delay in posting again today. Yesterday my small bet on the Wild didn’t pay off, but boy did my big plays (which I suggested should be big plays) of Preds and Tampa Reg paid off wonderfully. I really hope the market keeps doubting the Preds so I can keep playing them as underdogs. I was hesitant towards taking Tampa reg yesterday, and avoided Pens altogether as I said both sides might be in for more than they expect. I would only have considered pens in reg, and if they hadn’t scored 15seconds before the end of the third that would have been a losing bet. Tampa also got very close to throwing away a 4 goal lead, so my nervous regarding both teams were justified. Either way I still took Tampa reg, and the offensive put out more than Budaj let in. My account is looking nice a healthy again. I’ll post my picks and reasons will follow- so again keep refreshing this page.

Blues ML(70%)- The Blues shut out the Jets last night and yet come into this game as massive underdogs according to the bookies. My opinion? Wrong wrong wrong. The Jets have been great at home and I’ve backed them all the way; today I jump of the bandwagon though. The Blues have been better on the road and the Jets have been better at home so who loses this? In my opinion the Blues are the play at the plus money. The Jets aren’t in a good spot at the moment having lost 5 of their last 6 and that included a pounding at home at the hands of the really unimpressive Hawks. The Blues went through a bit of a dip but are still a healthy 5 wins out of 7 with their losses coming to a powerful lightning and resilient ducks, and seem to have recovered from their late November dip (where they were 1-4) . The Jets have had defensive trouble on the ice all season, and their goaltending has consistently been below the. 900 mark lately, and with Byfuglien out I’m not 100% sure they can sort that quickly. The Blues are without Schwartz but have shown they have more than enough firepower to still eek out wins. Personally I am not about to put money on a team who have lost 5 of their last 6 games, including a loss to an opponent they are up against tonight who can really play on the road. The Blues are in the better form and have enough to win this game (as they did last night) , and I will happily take the plus money.

POTD – Vegas ML/ Reg (95%/90%) – I’ll be looking to play reg here. The Knights are a superb team in general and more so at home. They’ve bested the best sides in the league here, and I don’t see this Panthers side doing enough to win this. To be honest I wouldn’t be shocked to see a 4-1 scoreline in favour of the Knights. They’re a side with a lot of spunk, greater talent, better form and with a lot of players who will want to give the finger to their former team tonight. The odds have dropped somewhat which is annoying for me as I wish I had got the earlier line but I’ll still take this line, and play it pretty hard. Reimer is still a sieve and the Panthers defence will struggle to cope with this Vegas offense. Do I think the Panthers will inflict the Knights 4th ever loss at home? Not a chance.

As of right now I’m staying well away from the Hawks game. They’ve been better, but beating the Sabres, Panthers, Coyotes and a wobbly Jets isn’t about to convince me to take this massively inflated price. Underestimate this Wild team at your own risk- in fact I may even play the Wild.

SanDiegoBruinsD

Congrats on a good day yesterday. I had Tampa and Bolts as well. I am pretty much in agreement with you today, although Jets did get 48 SOG yesterday so they are a force and I wouldn’t count them out. I like the under here.

I watched a good part of the Preds-Flames game yesterday and they really took it to the Preds in the 3rd period. The Preds D and goaltending kept the lead but the Flames can really bring it and they are a physical team. They’ve suffered a couple of hard luck losses recently and I think this is a point where they can feast on a weak team and break their streak. I also really like the under in this game, check out the O/U for both teams

Oliver Trigg

St Louis have won 21 of 26 on the end of back to backs- I still really like their chances. Shots aren’t everything- the way they beat the Red Wings illustrates that. I’m actually very much considering a play on the Flames , and may add it just now.

Oliver Trigg

****Added Play – Flames ML- The Flames beat the Canucks just a few days back winning 4-2 in game they could easily have lost had it not been for a 3rd period collapse by the Canucks. The Flames are on the end of a back to back and haven’t been playing well, but put a spirited performance against the Preds. Having gone down so early against the Canucks in their last game against them they won’t want to be taking this game lightly, and be looking to bounce back. The Canucks on the other hand managed a win against the Sharks, but with their injuries are still a team to fade. You simply can’t have that much of your firepower missing and win game after game. I see a Flames bounce back tonight at decent odds.

lion

Only one today,

Panthers win

Good luck everyone!

Oliver Trigg

I would really love to know why you’re backing Panthers?

Goodzy

Hey mate thanks for sharing your picks… is there somewhere where you post daily ? We have a similar style, though I am still learning it… would like to see more of your picks in an easy place to follow. Cheers.

***UPDATE**** Guys 888sport right now are running a 100% profit boost in ice hockey winnings. It is running for the next month and is a perfect opportunity to make some more money. Essentially you have to place 5 separate bets of £10 (or currency equivalent) and the 6th bet you place will be 100% profit boosted. For those of you who stake above £50 a day this is well worth getting an account with them. I’ve placed 5 separate £10 bets on Vegas and will place a larger bet for my 6th bet to get it 100% boosted. Essentially at current odds you’ll get a +200 price win on it ! And considering this is on for the next month if you’re betting ice hockey jump on this.
