It was a 1-1 night last night with the tips.
We had the Over in the Montreal/Tampa game and that went over in a 7 goal thriller. Montreal blew a 3-1 lead against the Lightning.
We had the Canucks/Kings to go over but despite the Kings best attempts, Miller held them at bay and they lost 2-1. That was a kicker as I had said yesterday I liked the Canucks to win that one. But I didn’t expect Miller to have such a incredible performance.
Felt bad for Miller though as that’s 67 games without a shutout. Bet he was already thinking of the champagne when Pearson got that one by him.
Busy night tonight and two tips only. Couple of potential plays we couldn’t pull the trigger on were Habs/Panthers Over 5.5 (just not fully confident in the offenses) and Oilers to win (Kings are a tough test and the odds aren’t good). I also have a feeling the Hawks win today and the Islanders pull off a shock – but not enough to back them up to go with them.
Bruins vs Sabres Betting Tips:
I actually laughed out loud when I heard Bylsma talking about “sweeping the Bruins”. Hey maybe they will and it’s good to think positive but that’s going to be a tough thing to do.
Bruins match up well against the Sabres and are solid and trustworthy on the road. With the poor OT/SO record for Buffalo we’re going to take Bruins to win incl OT/SO if Rask is in net.

Capitals vs Devils Betting Tips:
Caps are a tough team for the Devils to match up against and the Devils are extremely poor at the moment. I mean this is one where I probably don’t have to write much about – you can see why we’re taking the Caps in this one. I feel bad watching the Devils – they just don’t seem to have any drive about them. That Penguins 3rd period was really poor it was like they had zero confidence in regard to winning that game. If they can’t bring themselves up I see this being a big win for Washington.
Capitals to win in Regulation.
