Apologies for the delay today – a miscommunication with Scott and I in regard to who was doing tips today.
I’ll get onto them now although will be rushing through them a fair bit.
Looking forward to December and I hope it goes as well as it did to open the season. I’m currently 15-3 which is bloody ridiculous. Scott is 8-7 at the moment for a combined 23-10 record which is awesome.
He added to that with the Stars win yesterday.
Anyhoo it’s a bit late in the day, we got a ton of games let’s get to it and I’ll skip a few games writeup if nothing stands out:
Sabres vs Avalanche:
I’m fine backing nothing here.
Bruins vs Red Wings:
Bruins still battling consistency, although things are a bit brighter at the moment.
Red Wings are a bit similar – and a bit more positive lately. These two played 10 days ago with the Bruins coming out 2-1 winners. I lean Bruins. Their biggest issue is actually scoring goals with a 2.39 GF/60 over the last 10. And the problem is it’s so inconsistent.
It certainly feels a bit roll the dice. But I’m hoping that the Bruins continue the momentum from the Habs game, and with Husso in net they find it a tad easier to score tonight.

Penguins vs Panthers:
Pens on a three game streak but big underdogs as they face the Panthers, who are also on a three game streak and theirs is lethal. By the metrics, Panthers shouldn’t be as big favourites as they are but I’m not u p for backing Pittsburgh here.
Canadiens vs Islanders:
Nothing standing out here.
Hurricanes vs Kraken:
Canes coming in cold after the drubbings from the Panthers. Results wise these two have been a bit mental lately for goals. I’d love to back the over due to that but I’m just not seeing it in the overall data.
Capitals vs Sharks:
Washington have been pretty awesome lately. Now they host the Sharks who have also been performing better. I’d have to back Caps -1.5 and I am not seeing that at all. The Caps have a worse xGA/60 than the Sharks and their offense is overperforming. Too many red flags.
Jets vs Blues:
Been a miserable time for the Jets and they look to bounce back at home where they are 9-1-0. I expect they’ll do it but their offensive metrics are very weak at the moment.
Wild vs Canucks:
Definite lean on the Wild but their current odds are about what I’d place them. No value in it.
Flames vs Blue Jackets:
Nothing here. The Jackets offense is awesome but their goaltending and defense too much of a liability.
Golden Knights vs Oilers:
A lean on the Oilers but not enough to back – especially considering the odds, and that the Knights blasted them 4-2 in Edmonton a month ago.

C. Coyle for Bruins
