We has three tips yesterday and went 1-2. Despite the losing night it was a good day of NHL action overall.
First we had the Red Wings – Sabres game to go over 6 and the Sabres won 3-1 keeping us under.
Our next tip was the Penguins to beat the Lightning but the Lightning held on for the 5-4 win. This was a good close game.
Our final tip of the day was also our winning tip as we had the Leafs vs Habs game to go over 6.5. This game needed OT where the Leafs won 5-4 thanks to a Tavares goal almost halfway through the OT period.
A couple of huge moments happened last night. Crosby passed Mario Lemieux for most games played for the Penguins and Joe Thornton tied Gordie Howe for 9th place on the all time assists list. Both of those are incredible accomplishments and congrats to both of them.
A busy Sunday with 8 games and timing wise we are in for a day full of hockey.
Lightning vs Panthers Betting Tips:
Battle of Florida games are always great.
By their standards, the Lightning arent playing great at the moment. They beat the Penguins yesterday but had lost two in a row before that to beatable teams.
The Panthers are coming off of two big wins against the Penguins and the Caps.
These teams both show up when they play each other. The last two games they played each other this season had high total; a 5-4 Lightning win in OT and a 7-3 win back in November.
Lightning need to get another win streak going and the Panthers will look to win against another superstar for their 3rd in a row.

Hurricanes vs Devils Betting Tips:
The Canes are on a 3 game win streak and are 1 point behind the Penguins who are in the 8th and final playoff spot.
The Devils have lost 3 in a row and have gone 3-6-1 over their last 10. They are currently only 1 point ahead of the Sens who are in last place in the East.
With the way these teams are playing I like the Canes chances to come away winners in this game.

Red Wings vs Blackhawks Betting Tips:
A good rivalry game here between two former Central Division foes.
The Wings are 14 points out of the playoffs and you have to wonder when they accept the fact that this season is a loss and plan for the future.
The Hawks are playing great right now. They are 4 points out of the wildcard and have won 6 in a row.
When these two meet its usually a hugh scoring game. They Hawks have gone over in 5 of the 6 games during their win streak. When the Wings are in town I expect that to continue.
