Had the Flyers to win in regulation against the Coyotes and they did 5-3. This was a close game with the Flyers down 3-2 after the 2nd but they scored 3 times in the 3rd to complete the comeback.
The Devils beat the Kraken 3-1 and outshot them 37-28. Hughes had a goal and an assist which were his first points since returning from the injury that forced him to miss 11 games. The Rangers beat the Flames in a close game 2-0 with the 2nd goal an empty netter. The loss stopped the Flames win streak at 4 games.

Jackets vs Senators Betting Tips:
The Jackets have gone 3-6-1 in last 10 and are 7-11-6 on the road. They rank 23rd in GPG and 31st in GAPG.
The Sens have been playing well recently going 6-2-2 in last 10 and are on 3 game win streak. At home they have gone 14-12-2 and rank 8th in GPG and 30th in GAPG.
With the Sens playing well its hard to bet against them when they are at home. But it needs to be in regulation and 2 of their last 3 games needed overtime but they should be able to do this

Lightning vs Bruins Betting Tips:
They have played each other twice with each team winning once.
Both teams are playing well in last 10 games going 7-3-0 but both are also 1-2-0 in February.
The Lightning are 11-15-2 on the road and the Bruins are 17-6-3 at home. When playing teams from the Atlantic Divison the Lightning are 5-5-3 and the Bruins are 12-3-2. For GPG the Lightning are 6th and the Bruins are 8th. For GAPG the Lightning are 24th and the Bruins are 3rd.
The Bruins have hit a few hiccups recently but their home record is strong so I have to pass.
Avalanche vs Capitals Betting Tips:
I want to tip the Avalanche but they are in a slump losing their last 4 games getting outscored 16-6 during this skid.
The Caps aren’t playing very well going 3-5-2 in last 10 but Ovechkin has scored in 5 straight games.
Can’t take either team here.
Kings vs Sabres Betting Tips:
The Kings are starting to turn things around. They have won their last 2 games after winning only twice over the previous 16. For GPG the Kings are 15th, the Sabres 23rd. For GAPG the Kings are 5th and the Sabres are 18th.
The Sabres have lost two in a row and are 5-5 in last 10.
The Kings are 15-6-4 on the road and the Sabres are 11-14-1 at home. If the Kings are to continue to get things back on track then they need to win this game.

Ducks vs Canadiens Betting Tips:
Both are 4-5-1 in last 10. They have similar records for where they are playing with the Ducks 10-13-1 on the road and the Habs 10-14-3 at home. Easy pass for me.
Blues vs Leafs Betting Tips:
The Blues are 7-3-0 in last 10 winning their last 2 straight. They are 13-12-1 on the road and ranked 22nd in GPG and 15th in GAPG.
The Leafs are 5-5 in last 10 and 12-10-2 at home. They rank 5th in GPG and 21st in GAPG.
If the Blues had a better road record I would consider taking them but they don’t. The Leafs haven’t been playing that great and it has me put off of taking them.
Kraken vs Islanders Betting Tips:
The Kraken played last night and the Isles have been bad of late going 3-5-2.
Nothing for this game for me.
Devils vs Predators Betting Tips:
The Devils played yesterday and the Predators aren’t playing well going 4-5-1 in last 10 so I’m passing.
Hurricanes vs Stars Betting Tips:
Both teams are playing well over their last 10 games with the Canes 7-3-0 and the Stars 7-2-1.
On the road the Canes have gone 13-10-1 and at home the Stars are 16-8-2. For GPG the Stars are 3rd and for GAPG they’re 15th. The Canes rank 11th in both. This game could go either way.
Canucks vs Blackhawks Betting Tips:
It’s obvious that the Canucks are favored here.
We would have to take the Canucks -1.5 to get any value. They should be able to cover that but 4 of their last 6 games needed overtime so I’m passing.
Wings vs Oilers Betting Tips:
The Wings are 7-2-1 in last 10. They are 12-10-1 on the road and rank 4th in GPG and 21st in GAPG.
The Oilers went almost a month and a half without taking a loss but since that streak ended they are 1-2. They are 16-6-1 in Edmonton. They are 6th in GPG, 8th in GAPG and are 3rd in both shots and shots allowed.
I’m not sure I’m tipping the Oilers right now as they haven’t looked like the team that won 16 straight.
Toronto -198 half unit
I believe St. Louis has overachieved a bit recently on the road. And their xGA has been high as well. Some low xGF for Toronto recently at home though. I would like to see some better metrics and consistency from Toronto’s offense to be more confident in this play. But the Toronto price wasn’t overinflated in my opinion and was worth a half unit play.
Ottawa Regulation -140
I’m hoping Ottawa’s goaltending can hold up is my only concern. I don’t know if the Blue Jackets have enough fire power to take advantage of the Senators biggest weakness though.
Dallas -120
I don’t think they are getting enough respect here at home.
Trying to improve my totals, I’ll put a half unit each on two games. Those are
Anaheim/Montreal Over 6 -120
Colorado/Washington Over 6 -120
Also was very close on a Tampa Bay +136 play. On a smaller card it might be worth at least a half unit. I think Tampa had some decent offensive metrics. Along with a recent dip in form from Boston offensively.
However the Boston sample is still small enough. And the goaltending from Boston can steal them some games as well.
