Well the Bruins seemed to like the outdoor game.  They beat the Flyers 7-3 and Pastrnak scored a hat trick.  He now has 9 goals and 14 points in 9 games this season.  As always the outdoor games looked amazing.

The Capitals beat the Devils 4-3.  This game started out slow with only 1 goal in the first and 2 in the second.   There was 4 in the 3rd to give the game some life.

The Sens showed up again this time beating the Habs 3-2 in overtime.   It’s really strange but it shows just how different the Sens can be when they play a rival.  They have won only 5 games this season, 2 against the Leafs and 2 against the Canadiens.

The final game of the day was the Jets vs the Canucks and the Jets won 4-3 in OT.  Dubois scored twice including the overtime winner.  It was quite the return to the lineup for Dubois who had missed the last 4 with an injury.

For today we have 8 games scheduled.  I have some appointments I need to be at so I have to keep these short.

Stars vs Panthers

The Stars haven’t played since the 13th.  So with them having over a week off they should be rested and ready to snap their losing streak at 5 games.

Both teams are in the top 10 in goals per game.  Both teams have had chunks of their season postponed and in the first game back after it was a high scoring one.  The Panthers first game back after being postponed the first time was a 5-2 win against the Blackhawks, the next time was a 4-3 shootout win against the Jackets.  The Stars first game back after being postponed was a 7-0 win against the Predators.

I like Cats ML -120. Very good odds for a team that is playing with a lot of confidence at home against a team that has been on an extended break and only has one away W. I don’t hate the over, but I am not confident that the Stars will contribute more than two against Driedger. He’s been playing very well and it might take a period or two for the Stars to find their legs after their weather break. On the other hand, Khudobin hasn’t seen NHL action for 11 days and in his L4 his GAAs were 4-4-3-4. In 3 of L5, Cats put up GF of 7-4-6. Last game was a L vs Red Wings when they only scored 1 but that was at the end of a long road trip. Cats are 4-0-0 after a loss this season. Cats have the best point percentage in the National Hockey League. Cats TT o2 1/2 is pricey at -155, but with Khudobin’s recent record I think it’s worth .5u. Count on Cats to bounce back.

In AHL action I like Laval over Manitoba. Laval is first in their division and their goal differential is much better than the Moose. Might be a high scoring game because Laval is playing Vasily Demchenko in net who hasn’t seen AHL yet. He was solid in the KHL but hasn’t seen game action so far this season. Likely that Moose will go with Berdin in net and he’s let up 3-6 L2.

so Laval in regulation??

Danish Dynamite

Islanders. Need to bounce back, and dominate the sabres, won the last 5 games against them.

Leafs. Just the better team.

Stars +O5.5 goals. Stars just need to win this one, and are well rested.

Canes. Are on fire right now, and play there best against the div rivals.

Coyotes. Good goalie and defense, Ducks are just a bad team,1.83 goals for per game, and missing key player Lindholm Tonight.

Avs. Just the better team.

Danish Dynamite

Damm This is hockey lol.

Blues Reg

Western Rattlers

Trying to keep things simple, it’s a crazy season.

Full game Under: Islanders
To Win: Florida
Lean: to win, Toronto
Lean: Toronto to win moneyline for the 2nd Period.

Flames. If Toronto shows up wanting the win, they’ll take both games, but will have to be assertive because of Markstrom. Flames are done for the season, disconnected and have few players who can hit the net.

Panthers ML ✅

Florida didn’t show up last game.. i mean, technically they did as they had the Red Wings topped on shots and all that, but sometimes not showing up isn’t about coasting out there but rather lack of execution. And i think that’s what happened. The great thing about these type of games is that you know the team isn’t happy, we all know who the good and bad teams are and Florida knows they lost to a bad team. So turning around and playing a team that made the SCF is a good challenge that should get them up for it, and if we write off the last game, they got that 7-2 win as a kicker as well as wins over Carolina and Tampa. Meanwhile Dallas 9 days off and 5 game losing skid.. If they somehow come out firing and beat a team that’s been better than them then i’ll tip my cap, but i can not go for Florida here. Also Panthers put in 7 goals against the Stars last time they played and while that was a long time ago, can’t hurt.

Avalanche ML ❌

Honestly i’ll probably go for regulation but decided to add some insurance to the pick here.. This is a game where i feel like the makeup of this season really hurts Vegas. They could use another team to play against right about now to find their confidence again, but nope, it’s the Avs and they’re on a roll right now, not just in general but also against Vegas. Knights seem a bit frozen not knowing how to take the game over and beat the Avs, and while im sure they’ll try to up their desperation, i think it’s the Avs that have another gear still. And i don’t think they’re going to take Vegas lightly.. these are the games you should get up for in this division. Even if the Knights get off to a good start i think the Avs have a comeback in them if need be.

Coyotes regulation ✅

This feels like the easiest +EV bet i’ve made in my life, which makes me nervous hah. But seriously, i can’t find any reason why the Ducks would win this game. First of all, Coyotes have lost 2 in a row three times this season, winning every following game regulation afterwards, one of them being against the Ducks where they absolutely dominated the game. Yotes seemed to have trouble getting into it mentally against LA but i can’t blame them, 7 hard fought games against the Blues where they busted their asses and in hindsight it’s understandable there was a bit of a letdown in that series. But i think they’ll get back to work here, i mean no choice really if they wanna make the playoffs. Ducks absolutely blow right now and if you look at the last few games SJ and MIN both had lost 2 in a row and had no trouble beating them afterwards. Basically.. Yotes should flip a switch and from everything i see the Ducks shouldn’t be able to answer. I mean, it’s hockey and anything can happen but im more than happy to go with this one. Anaheim also missing Lindholm who is arguably their best dman – doesn’t hurt.

Coyotes easiest bet, 😂 well said man!

Matt Martin

Gotta keep this short. Parlay islanders, blues and yotes. Nba I’m taking bulls ml. Rockets haven’t won a game since Feb 4 and Chicago can beat up on bad teams.

Darko

I like the under on Rockets-Bulls.

domcity25

Might just do overs tonight , I smell some upsets and rather stay away but anyway I like stars Florida over , Toronto Calgary over and St. Louis kings as well !

Donnie V

I like it. Nice tip Scott.

I could also get behind a Florida win SU just in case Driedger goes lights out. Decent value at 1.81 ML or 2.35 in regulation imho.

magus1349

Leafs, Stars, Sabres and Tampa.
