Was a busy night last night with 9 games.

I had 1 tip of Over 6.5 in the Maple Leafs vs Sabres game and it was a win. The Leafs came out swinging in this one. O’Reilly scored the first 2 goals of the game, which were his first as a Leaf, and the Leafs were up 4-0 after the 1st. In the end it was the Leafs winning 6-3 with O’Reilly getting the hat trick and Marner 5 assists.

The Wings beat the Caps which helped them in the playoff race. The Lightning beat the Ducks 6-1, the Canes beat the Blues 4-1 and the Habs upset the Devils 5-2 with Montembeault making 38 saves in the win.

The Hawks beat the Knights 3-2 in a shootout, the Preds beat the Canucks 5-4 in a shootout and the Oilers beat the Flyers 4-2.

A slower night with only 3 games which is fine by me. I couldn’t come up with a tip for tonight’s games.

Jets vs Islanders

The Isles are in the wild card but still need points to stay there. It’s a really tight race in the East for the wild card spots.

The Jets are in 2nd in the Central with 71 points after 57 games. The Knights are in 1st with 72 in 57 and the Avalanche are 3rd with 67 after 55 games.

The Isles are 6-2-2 in last 10 and the Jets 5-5.

The problem for the Isles is Barzal will miss at least a week with a lower-body injury. That’s a big loss at a crucial time for them. They did pick up the win in their last game without him.

This game could go either way.

Blackhawks vs Stars

The Hawks won last night which was their 3rd straight win.

The Stars have been off since Saturday. They are on a 4 game losing skid so the time off probably gave them some much needed rest to get back to their winning ways. Offensively they are ranked around the middle of the league and defensively they are doing well where they are ranked 2nd in GAPG.

I do like the Stars chances to win this game but I would have to go with -2.5 and after having some time off I’m not doing that so I have to skip.

Flames vs Coyotes

I have no idea for this game.

Sure the Flames should win but they have had a rough season and currently sit in 9th place. They have 63 points which is behind the. They have gone 4-4-2 over their last 10 and are ranked 2nd in shots on goal and shots allowed per game.

To make matter worse for them they are on the road here and their road play hasn’t been that good going 11-9-9.

I would have to take the Flames in regulation which has odds of 1.71 and with their play of late I’m not sure I can.

Jets-Islanders over 5,5

Glancing at Islanders last few games and the fact that Jets will be playing their 3rd game in 4 days, I like the over in this one.

Good luck!

3 long shot low expectation bets today. Nothing really jumping out so degenerate that I am why not take some chances. Sometimes you just gotta get it outta your system.

Dallas -2.5 +115

Dallas limped into their break and is on a 4 game losing streak. Only 3 wins in their last 10 (lot of overtime losses) Despite being in first place, is now barely a .500 team. And not a very good home ice record either. Chicago has won 3 in a row and 5 of their last 10. So let’s take Dallas to win by 3. The only thing I can point to here is, when Dallas wins it’s usually by margin. When Chicago losses, same. 19 of Dallas 30 wins have been by 3 or more goals. 22 of Chicago’s 32 regulation losses have been by 3 goals or more.

NYI Cizikas to score +600

The only other guy that stood out to me here potentially was Winnipegs Ehlers at +195. Cozikas hasn’t scored more than 2 goals in any month. And has gone 16 games without a goal. He averages about 14 minutes a game and barely over a shot per game. The only this I can point to is his shooting percentage is way off his career average. Currently at 5.6 percent, his career average is almost double that. He’s never finished lower than 7.6. And has hit double digits 5 of his 12 years.

Dallas Hesikanen to score +390

Robertson the most likely but at -125, I didn’t think he was as clear cut as I felt McDavid was yesterday. The guy it was between for me was Pavelski at +180. Hesikanen has gone 16 games without a goal. But he’s averaging about 4.6 shots per game during that span. So against Chicago off the back to back why not take a flyer.

Also I’m expecting to go 0-3 on these. And I’m ok with it.
