We we had a rough night with the tips last night.

2 of them looked like we were going to win but what can you do. We ended up going 0-3.

We had the Caps to continue their winning streak and beat the Penguins.  This looked good as the Caps were up 3-0 early in the 2nd but the Pens battled back.  The scored 6 goals in the 2nd and held a 6-5 lead heading into the 3rd. A Crosby goal pushed the lead to 7-5 and the Caps then tied it to send it to OT where the Pens scored and won the game 8-7.  Overall just an amazing game!

We had over 5.5 in the Stars vs Sabres game and this looked great with 3 goals in the first.  But the scoring slowed down and the game ended 4-1 for the Sabres.

The final tip was over 5.5 in the Canadiens – Red Wings and this was way off.  The Wings won 1-0.  The Wings had 18 shots the Habs 20 so way off what we expected.

9 games tonight so let’s have a better night.

Stars vs Rangers Betting Tips:

For this game all signs point to it going under.

Over the last 10 games between these teams there has been an average of 4.70 goals.

They last played on December 15th and it was the Rangers winning 2-0.  There is some bad blood from that game as Stars forward Cody Eakin ran into Lundqvist and was suspended 4 games.

But with the Over/Under at 6 I like this to stay under

Under 6 incl OT/SO

Sabres vs Maple Leafs Betting Tips:

The Sabres beat the Stars last night and are now 5-4-1 over their last 10.

The Leafs are on a 2 game win streak and are 8-1-1 over their last 10.

With the way the Leafs are playing right now I like their chances in this one.  This is the first game of a 4 game home stand for them and  with some good hockey over this stretch they would get themselves back into the playoff picture.

Senators vs Blues Betting Tips:

The Blues have had a rough season so far when on the road but have been strong at home.  So when they are playing in St Louis they need to win as much as they can to stay in the playoff picture where they only have a 4 point lead over 9th place Nashville.

The Sens have had an up and down year.  Anderson and Hammond are both out so they are going with Condon.

But with the Blues finally putting together a win streak I like the momentum to carry them to a victory at home in this one.

Blues in regulation

I am not feeling any dogs today, and the favourites’ odds are pretty low (ml). I am not sure if I can trust either the Blackhawks or the Leafs in regulation.

BlueLineBets

Andersen is 5-0 with a 1.0 GAA career against Buffalo. Leafs also averaging 4.17 G/g this month (6 games). I like the Leafs today as well.

Henry Del Valle Sr.

Let’s add the fact that Buffalo 1-7@TOR. This game could be a good OVER bet as well as the over has gone 7-2-1 in B2Bs, 6-2 in Buff’s last eight overall

Mojo

I’ve sworn off Chicago, don’t trust them man its not worth it. They really aren’t very good anymore that roster is thin. Especially when favourite ML’s are too low for your liking just parlay three or four together. That’s what I do. Like tonight I’d go with Rangers, Leafs, Wild ML. Also like Flames and might put them in a smaller parlay with those other three in regulation

BlueLineBets

I wouldn’t recommend the parlaying multiple bets strategy in hockey. As evidenced by the Caps/Pens game last night, hockey is crazy and anything can happen.

Michael

You just opt for singles instead?

BlueLineBets

Finding value and betting on single wagers is more profitable in the long run than boom or bust parlay wagers. Risk increases significantly with every leg added to a parlay. Yes, the odds are good, and if you hit all of the legs you can make a lot of money, but that is very hard to do, especially in hockey. They don’t call parlays sucker bets for no reason. At most I would limit a parlay to two legs. And don’t count on it to increase your bankroll, treat it as a bonus wager.

What do you guys think of the wilds?
The rest of you’re picks i like!
Great job all the time?

Jens Denmark

My picks tonight:

Hawks in reg. (they have to step up their game at one point – I am betting on it being tonight)

Wild in reg.

Blues in reg.

GLTA!

Henry Del Valle Sr.

I lean all of your picks. I have trust issues with Blues and I saw that NJ really gives the Wild a tough time. I think they’ve beaten Minny four straight? Crazy.

Jens Denmark

I just added the Rangers. I really need a good night – had a couple of bad nights recently – but with NHL being NHL one just never know, we will see 🙂

Henry Del Valle Sr.

I am sorry about the Rangers. I can’t believe how bad they have played defensively. I had a feeling about the Blues and Wild last night. Still surprising to see though.

Jens Denmark

Tough night – Lundqvist was not good, but he did not get any help by his D. OMG, I went 1 out of 4 last night – hopefully better luck tonight 🙂

Jens Denmark

Hi, if you have a few seconds what do you think about these picks for tonight:

Wild reg.
Caps reg.
Flames reg.
Ducks reg.

Thanks.

Henry Del Valle Sr.

I would say MIN and ANA are your best bets for Regulation wins. Look for the Wild to have their backup in goal, but that wouldn’t stop me from taking the Wild.

Gibson has been on fire for ANAHEIM and they should handle the Avs, who I think have quit on the season.

Caps at St Louis in regulation is risky. I don’t know the goalies yet. I do not see Caps losing this one but it could go OT.

Nashville is starting to play better but have hit by injuries. This, too, would be too risky for me to take Calgary in regulation. Flames would be fine on the money line at -135 as this too could go OT/shootout.

Good luck!

Jens Denmark

Thanks 🙂

I went for a parlay with Wild and Ducks. I also took Flames in reg. and also Sharks in reg. – always a bit biased towards Sharks – I think it’s a great team 🙂

We hope for a fun and fortunate night of NHL 🙂

Good luck 🙂

Henry Del Valle Sr.

Thank you! You as well. Let’s kill it!

Henry Del Valle Sr.

NYRangers in Reg — Dallas is an absolute mess on defense and Benn is slumping big-time! King Heinrich owns the Stars, Dallas is 1-9 L10 in B2Bs. Rangers getting guys healthy and I see a 4-1 win on Broadway.

Ducks – TB still no Hedmann and that’s huge. Bolts come down to earth after last night’s win. TB 1-9 on B2Bs and 1-5 L6 on the road. Gibson is playing light’s out for Ducks. I know Ducks have had a bit of trouble vs TB lately (1-6 L7), but with injuries, struggling Defence and horrible road play, Quack Quack 3-1 Ducks.

Chicago in Reg – Coach Q has mixed the lines up and hopefully it’ll create a spark. Avalanche are horrid at home and not scoring. I like the Hawks to win 4-2.

Buff/Tor Over – reasons written below. But Buffalo in B2Bs really play lax on “D” and the Over is 7-2-1 in that scenario.

Petri Kontiola

My picks tonight:
Blue Jackets in reg.;
Blues in reg.;
Ducks in reg.;
Leafs-Sabres over 5.5;
Flames-Panthers over 5.5;
Stars win first period or win in reg.

NHL Daily Tips

After some very nice days with 8-0 total. I had a horrible one last night. How could Holtby let that many goals past him? Couldn’t watch the game but has been in extraordinary form lately. 0-4 yesterday

Tonight i’m all in on BH.
Things WILL turn around against the Avs
Blackhawks in reg
I also have Sabres Vs Leafs over 5.5
Jackets Vs Canes over 5
And the last one is Wild in reg

Thoughts anyone?

GL TO ALL!

Arto Reinikainen

Crazy game last night between the Caps and Pens. I went for O5.5 and OT in that game, so it was both exciting and horrifying at the same time 😀

Rangers PL -1.5
Blue Jackets TT O2.5
Sabres-Leafs O5.5
Senators-Blues OT
Devils-Wild OT
Blackhawks-Avalanche OT
Flames in regulation
Canucks in regulation
Bolts ML (if Bishop and Hedman are in)

GL !

Norbert Buzási

I’ve picked the wrong ones again. Wild and Rangers sucked big time. How on Earth you gave up 7 to the Stars on a back to back, and how you lose to the Devils at home.

Arto Reinikainen

Hank’s been really bad lately. Can’t stop a beach ball. I thought he’d step up against a team he’s had success against but i guess not.

Fatigue don’t often seem to affect your scoring that much. It’s more of the mental collapses on D that you see increasing, and well the Stars gave up 6 so there’s that.

Wild losing in reg was surprising for sure, i thought the game would’ve gone to OT (didn’t think the Wild would match the Devils desperation level to win it in reg).

Norbert Buzási

Yes, Lundqvist gave up some interesting goals. For me, two nights in a row, when my team scored 6 or more and still lost.

Henry Del Valle Sr.

My reasoning was correct in 3.5 games of the games last night. Tor/Buff Over, Hawks in Reg (shake up of lines brought out the scoring in the third lines big time) and Ducks to win. I was completely off on my analyses of the Rangers being able to handle the Stars. Wow. New York needs to really tighten up their defense and goal tending. The Rangers were booed off the ice after that second period.
