There was only 2 games yesterday and we had 1 tip.
I went with the Jets to beat the Flyers but the Flyers came out 3-1 winners. The other game saw the Devils beat the Penguins 6-3. So both games were upsets and looking back I’m not sure I would have went any other way with the tips.
A couple moves have happened already a month before the trade deadline. The Stars brought back Jamie Oleksiak for a 4th round pick from the Penguins and the Leafs made a big splash when the acquired Jake Muzzin from the Kings for two of the Leafs top 5 prospects in Sean Durzi and Carl Grundstrom as well as the Leafs first round pick in the 2019 draft. This will really change the way the Leafs lineup will look with Muzzin expected to take Ron Hainsey’s place in the top pairing with Morgan Reilly.
Another slow day of action with only 3 games.
Sabres vs Blue Jackets Betting Tips:
The Sabres are on the outside looking in with the playoff picture. They are 4 points behind the Penguins for the 8th and final playoff spot in the East.
The Jackets were making a push up the standings winning 4 in a row only to lose their last 2. They now sit 1 point behind the Caps in the Metro and 4 back of the divison leading Islanders. With 1st within reach I can see the Jackets making a run at this point in the season.
They have been a decent team at home this season so I’ll go with them for this game.
