Only the one game yesterday.
The Predators were in Ottawa to play the Sens. This was a close game. The 1st period was all Preds as they scored 3 times. The Sens responded with 3 of their own in the 2nd to tie it 3-3. In the end it was the Sens winning 4-3 in overtime.
Another slow day with only two games for tonight.
Blue Jackets vs Blues Betting Tips:
The Jackets continue to be a bad team. They have gone 3-5-2 in last 10 and are in 8th in the Metro and 29th overall. They rank 21st in goals, 22nd in shots, 31st in goals allowed and 29th in shots allowed. On the road they have gone a terrible 6-11-6.
The Blues are playing well of late winning the last 5 games and are 6-3-1 in last 10. They’re 24th in goals, 23rd in shots, 20th in goals allowed and 25th in shots allowed. At home they have gone 14-8-1.
They have played once and the Jackets won that one 5-2 when the Blues were in the middle of a 3 game skid. I’m sure the Blues would love nothing more than to get some revenge now that they have their game back on track. We would need to take the Blues in regulation but their last 3 games needed overtime so I’m passing.
Kraken vs Sharks Betting Tips:
The Kraken are 27th in GPG, 24th in shots and 10th in both goals allowed and shots allowed. On the road they are 10-9-6. Over last 10 games they have gone 5-4-1. Against Pacific Divsion teams they have gone 6-5-3.
The Sharks are 32nd in most categories. At home they’ve gone 8-13-2 and are 4-5-1 in last 10.
They have played once and the Kraken won that one with ease 7-1. But it was in Seattle where they have a slightly better record than they do on the road.
I would lean towards the Kraken to win this game but I don’t have much confidence in them to make it a play as it needs to be in regulation. I could see it happening and it really should against a basement team like the Sharks but personally feel better just staying away.
