Hi everyone,

A 1-1 day yesterday.

We had the Bruins to win in regulation. The Wild were without quite a few players, and on a losing streak, lost Kaprizov yet came out with the win. Bruins lost the lead too! As someone who bet against the Bruins just last week with the Red Wings – that was frustrating to watch.

Crazy game with a lot of penalties. Where the hell did all that bad blood come from? Minnesota easily deserved that win.

Won with the Penguins in regulation with a solid result over Philly.

No-one noticed that Scott has been listing the betting tips as 2021 each day? Haha. Don’t worry I only noticed because I mucked up and listed it as 2021 myself today. Then when I went to fix it, saw the error.

Two games today let’s have a look:

Hurricanes vs Flames:

Canes fairly heavy favourites here. We haven’t seen them since the 1st when they beat the Jackets 7-4. They are on a 4 game winning streak. Calgary just played last night and got thumped by Tampa.

The Flames aren’t the same team they were earlier in the season that’s for sure.

The Hurricanes you do have to worry about their schedule disturbing their rhythm. Just 2 games in like 3 weeks. A concern for sure.

But seeing the way they came back on the 30th – happy with that.

Yeah I see no real reason not to back the Hurricanes here. Looking at their losses nothing really stands out – like they don’t lose to a specific metric or anything. It was a tight one when these two played December 9th but I think at home, rested against a Flames team that have to be reeling a bit – they can get the job done.

Hurricanes in Regulation

Canada: 1.95 Odds at Casumo / Bet365 (Americans: We recommend http://www.bovada.lv.
USA: -115 Odds at Bovada.
Everyone Else: 1.95 Odds at Casumo / Bet365 (Americans: We recommend http://www.bovada.lv.

(Odds correct as of 2022/01/07 8:14:03 AM EST but are subject to change.)

Blues vs Capitals:

I’d have this one as a coinflip and yep that seems about right to me.

Blues conceding a lot so the over is tempting there. Blues having to change their lineup with Tarasenko now out on COVID protocol. Oshie and Backstrom may not be playing due to illness.

Too many questions on the injury front.

Nice one. Completely agree. I took Under 6.0 as I feel like it could be low scoring with Markstrom and Canes defense. But also have Canes regulation in a parlay. Great pick

Hey guys!

Is it just me or it seems to have less comments this year? Or is there a bug and i dont see them ?!

Anyway still following you since at least 5 maybe 6 years across all of your websites. Lets have a great 2022 ! Cheers

I’ve been commenting much less because of finding far fewer situations I’m confident in betting on, and that’s after hours of searching data and losing enough bets that were VERY freaky results. COVID has derailed the NHL in many ways. I can’t trust any NCAA sports because of the very limited reporting on COVID, injuries and player status. They’re basically college-age kids with so many distractions to start with. NHL, NBA, and Euro-soccer will have good potential in a while, but the day-to-day disruptions and surprises and lack of deep news reporting are leaving me at a great disadvantage.

That being said, I’ve been keeping betting notes for years, and one consistent red flag is the period of about December 22nd through to the second week of January. It’s a time of Christmas, New Years, friends, families, a long pause, and very little going on to spark an athlete’s focus on their game. Quite understandable. It can result in odd results and great disappointments. Refocusing on winning at all costs restarts by about January 10 in the NHL, NBA and probably NCAA basketball (one of my favorite betting targets, in normal years). Playoff races pick up in earnest. So don’t burn yourselves out right now, take it light for another week or so and watch for predictions panning out better than in the last month. Best of luck!

Today, I’m betting $3 on a team I never ever bet on, and don’t follow what I say here: Washington/Blues full game OVER 6. There, it’s cast in stone that it will be an UNDER result.

Tailing on over 6
Adding Bulls over 115 in NBA. I don´t really know so much about basketball but I´ve been pretty lucky lately.
Let´s get it.
