We had only the one game yesterday and no tips.

The Leafs were up 2-0 after the 2nd only to have the Jackets score two of their own in the 3rd forcing OT.   Just past the 3 minute mark of the overtime period Panarin scored to give the Jackets the 3-2 win.  I originally had thought about taking the over and it’s a good thing I didn’t as this stayed below.

A better night of hockey tonight.  There are 7 games scheduled but that all depends on the weather.

Blackhawks vs Senators Betting Tips:

Both of these teams have had some high scoring games of late.  For Chicago they have had games with totals of: 5, 9, 7, 7, 7 and 7.  Ottawa is coming off of games with totals of 9 and 11.

Over the last 10 games between these teams there has been an average of 5.70.

The Hawks are trying to climb out of last place in the Central.  It’s their uncertainty in goal which is giving them headaches.

The Sens are on a rare win streak.  Their 2 game win streak will have them motivated for this game.

Canucks vs Capitals Betting Tips:

The Canucks have lost 4 straight and are 2-10-2 over their last 14 games.  Things aren’t going to get any easier for them in this game.

The Caps are in 1st place in the Metro. They have won 4 in a row and have won their last 9 games straight in Washington and 15 of their last 17 there.

With how these teams are playing at the moment there is no question as to who I think will win this game.  I was looking at -1.5 but it’s the 5-5 record against Vancouver over the last 10 meetings that has me a little worried about that.  But I am confident enough to go with a regulation win.

Hurricanes vs Lightning Betting Tips:

The Canes were playing some great hockey but have come back to earth going 1-2-1 over their last 4.

The Lightning are in 1st place overall in the league.  And now they are returning home after playing their last 5 on the road.

Vasilevskiy had the night off in their last game so he is rested and should get the start in this game and look to improve on his league leading 26 wins.

With the Lightning getting to play at home and a rested Vasilevskiy stating, I like the Bolts chances in this game.

magus1349

Jets, Tampa, Blues and Predators with 1u;
Laine, Zucker, Arvidsson and Tarasenko with 0.5u.

Calle Medin

Like Capitals and Bolts tonight.

Already half of the season and I ll use my classic way to pick games.
Teams on the bottom are more reasonable to pick and I think Sabres is good option for tonight. They are not stressed and nothing much to lose. They ll enjoy and that will bring them better play against jets. Jets are good but as some of you knows that they are not stable team and they may lose any moment against any team. I ll try Buffalos. So Buffalos win ML.

My other pick gonna be Calgary. I have only one reason and it is that I like how they play and the way how they do play is very complicated for teams such as wild. Wild handling it easy against open teams like hawks. Calgary lost last 2 facing therfore I believe they ll win tonight. As I said before, biggest reason I take Calgary because I somehow like how they play. When they do that fast short passing combinations then I fall in love with them :).

Other pick is Edmonton. Beginning of season I was thinking that they have very good and ready team so maybe they could even win the stanley cup but somehow season does not go that well for them. They have lost last 8+ games against nashville but I think they ll end that tonight and win against nashville.

Good luck!

Oliver Trigg

I really don’t see picking underdogs all the time as a solid tactic. Sure there will be big wins, but 8/10 times you’re going to be losing. Sure looking at value is always key, and that’s why I almost took Jackets yesterday and wish I had but it doesn’t always pan out that way.

lion

You are right and wrong. Sometimes it does not just go like that. Jackets were awesome last year and thought that they ll be even better but somehow seeing that they are lost in games. Anyway I still want to try and see how far I can go with my tips tonight. Good luck

Steve Dimase

I need to see the flames play a better road game I see it different but just me gl 2nite

Steve Dimase

think blues are my pick

SanDiegoBruinsD

Greetings from stormy San Diego. We have had our first substantial rain in months, although it won’t make a dent in our deficit it will help to suppress threats of fires. On to the NHL…

I’m taking all favorites tonight, especially since they are all at home with the exception of Winnipeg.

Winnipeg should certainly handle the Sabres and I’m taking them in regulation and a small be on the puckline. I also have a small bet on Jets scoring first at -130. Jet’s have a very good record against teams with a losing record even if they aren’t great on the road. Aside from a hiccup in Denver the Jets have been playing very well. They beat Buffalo 4-3 a few nights ago in their barn and shouldn’t have a problem beating them again on the road.

Bolts regulation – No value in the ML so I’m hoping Bolts bounce back in Detroit carries over tonight. Canes can be pesky because they come to play most nights but against a vastly superior Bolts who are at home I don’t see them coming out with a W. Vasi will be in net and Bolts have no significant injuries. Girardi caught a slapshot in the head the other night but he seems to be OK. l

Blues regulation – The Blues have had a bumpy time of it, but the Cats are in a tailspin at the moment with no answers. The Blues are not going to want to lose three in a row in front of their home fans so look for them to come out pressing.

Preds regulation – The Preds have had their troubles but Edmonton is in disarray and can’t win games. It won’t be easier tonight against a Preds team hungry for points who owns one of the best home records in the league.

Wild regulation – This is a bit of a stretch but I’m trying to squeeze some value out this bet. I’m hoping the home advantage works for the Wild. I like the over in this too. Both teams have been putting up a lot of goals lately.

This was my thoughts yesterday along with the over Hawks/Sens

Small stake, single parlay
Let’s get it ??

Bjørn Marcelius Stensberg

Agree with them all tonight, good luck!

Mark

Hi. guys, I will try Sens to win in reg. their third game in a row. After homewin against TBL I think Sens are finally back! and they are ready to beat Hawks with Anderson in net easily 🙂 GL 🙂

Xavier Awouters

Bolts o2.5
Preds o2.5

Should be no problem for both of them at home. Big play for me 🙂

Gl everyone tonight

Steve Dimase

1st par blues PL jets/buff under… 2nd par sens n sens over

Jayus

Agree with S&G tonight –
Sens/Hawks Over 5.5 is a great bet. Senators look to be in good scoring form but they can’t keep the puck out of their net. Should be an entertaining one.
Even though the capitals have their own problems at the back as well, they should win in regulation against vancouver.

Treble parlay:
Sens/Hawks O5.5 , Capitals in Reg , TOR Raptors ML

Sacha-raphael Gagne

Parlay 1 . Sens and Tampa ML
Parlay 2. Blues and Wild ML
and Blues PL .

Good Luck 🙂

Steve Dimase

Anyone see the canes taking this one? Just looking for input thanks

Went 1-1 yesterday, the under hit, but I should have listened to my instinct and taken the Jackets over the Leafs. Let’s hope today is not one of those ‘shock days.

POTD – Preds ML/Reg (90%/80%) – Preds haven’t been fantastic lately, but started to look like themselves again with their win over the Kings. The Oilers on the other hand have been crap all season, and after a slight uptick in form are back to sucking hard. The Preds have won 10 straight against the Oilers, and after seeing the Oilers manage just 3 goals in their last 5 games and concede 20 the Preds are the easy pick here. I doubt Preds will struggle that much and should manage a reg win. Good value here in both reg and ML so your choice.

POTD 2. – Wild ML/Reg (90%/85%) – This was almost a Tampa pick, but every time I choose Lightning as a POTD lately I’ve been rocked (but I’ll still be tipping Bolts). Wild have been besting just about everyone at home winning 11 of their last 13 and Stalock has looked good. The value here is better on the ML than the Bolts reg, and Flames have been super average so I’m happy taking the Wild.

Tampa Reg (85%) – bolts have won 10 of their last 12 at home, and need no introduction as one of the best teams in the NHL. Their recent performances on the road kept them from being POTD today, but Canes 4 wins in their last 13 away games still means I’m prepared to take the Bolts. Canes got hammered 7-1 by the Bruins, and if Tampa fire on the offensive end tonight can certainly kill this game quickly.

Caps Reg (70%) – Caps superb home form, Canucks troubles and injuries make this a Caps or nothing. 3 of Caps last 5 home games have gone to OT that’s my only concern here, but there is no value on the ML.

Jets ML/Reg (80%/70%) – Sabres have won just 4 of their last 20 games, and considering the Jets barely won against the Sabres a few days back shouldn’t take this game lightly. Jets have struggled on the road, but considering how bad the Sabres have been I can’t take anything else.Yes even with Mason in net I’m prepared to take Jets.

Hawks ML (60%) – Sorry, I just don’t buy that the Sens are suddenly good. They still let in 5 goals against the Sharks, and almost lost against the Bolts after taking a 3 goal lead. Granted Chicago have been nothing special and are only 2-3 on the road right now, but they’re still not as bad as the Sens. The Hawks put up a good fight versus the Knights and that says enough to me to take them. After only two wins I’m not about to think that the Sens are worth taking at favourite odds. If perhaps Sens were at an underdog price I’d consider taking them, but with the extra money on Hawks they’re the choice here.

Sorry for taking so long to post.

GL!

Oliver Trigg

Leaning Blues but odds just aren’t very nice to tip.

SanDiegoBruinsD

Cats are a mess, I think Blues sail away with with this one

Matthew

Agree on everything but Hawks, I’ll rather take the over in that game. Both teams are shaky lately, some wins, some loses. Nonetheless both teams were scoring a lot, that’s why I take over 5.5 as a safer option.

SanDiegoBruinsD

Right with you until the Blackhawks, who I continue to have no confidence in. Also like the over in Hawks-Sens and Flames-Wild. Finally, Caps TT

Oliver Trigg

It isn’t a pick I’m likely to play, but Sens are still shit in my books.

Juri Safoshin

I like Wild -1.5 odd, risky, but it is worth trying.

GLTA, – and i also lean Senators regulation win, although an Over is a smarter selection to take there )))

Western RattlersD

To WIN in reg: Tampa, Washington
OVER: Chicago
UNDER: St. Louis
Staying off other games. Both Edmonton and Calgary are in desperate straights trying to find who they are, what lines work, how to salvage a season and to make trades ASAP to fix some sorely hurting weaknesses. They can each be sporadically very dangerous, then they fall back into being in disarray. I think for Edmonton the season is a lost one, they need many trades done. Flames are a mix of great, good and horrific, and losing Jagr who still has a great opportunity for healing and returning to form after maybe a month or two off with appropriate leading-edge sports medicine guidance through rehab of his injury. 45 isn’t too old at all for what he can do, and this leaving the Flames like this means the Flames are a bad match for him, and that means THEY TRULY SUCK this year! I wish Jagr well in a fast full recovery and enjoying any more of this season he can, whether in the NHL or with the Czech team, and hopefully in the NHL next season, in a western conference team suitable to his style.

Mojo

Be careful with the Canes, they have burnt me time and time again. I wouldn’t touch Tampa tonight. The best play is Preds in regulation…Edmonton flat out blows, the Preds dominate the series, AND Nashville hasn’t been sharp lately which is a spot I love to back quality teams in.

Also like Caps in regulation.

Calle Medin

Ovetjkin brilliant for the Caps as usual.

SanDiegoBruinsD

Are the NHL goalies on strike tonight?

Bjørn Marcelius Stensberg

Made some stupid bets since I didn’t really check anything out.. Would’ve played goals on the Tampa game since Hurricanes have been looking sharp recently.

IanG

I think a big congrats is in order for the Betnhl lads after all 3 of their picks came good last night – bravo!
