3 tips yesterday and we went 1-2.

Took the Stars to win in regulation if Oettinger was in goal and he was are made 27 saves in the 5-1 win.

Also had the Caps -1.5 against the Jackets but the Caps didn’t cover when they won 1-0. The Caps were outshot 38-19 but still picked up the win. Backstrom and Wilson both returned for the Caps in this game and both had just over 14 minutes of ice time.

The final tip was the Coyotes to win against the Penguins if Vejmelka was in goal. He did get the start and the Penguins won 4-1.

The Hawks beat the Flames 4-3 in OT, the Jets beat the Canucks 7-4 with Connor scoring the hat trick and Dubois had 4 assists and the Bruins beat the Ducks 7-1 with Pastrnak scoring 3 and adding a helper.

Only 4 games tonight.

Flyers vs Sabres

The Flyers are actually playing some decent hockey of late. They have won their last 4 games. Those 4 wins weren’t against powerhouse teams or anything but for the Flyers this is huge motivation. They beat the Coyotes, Ducks, Kings and the Sharks in overtime.

The Sabres have won their last 2 games, both in overtime, and have gone 8-2 over last 10. They lead the league in goals per game and shooting percentage.

I want to take the Sabres here but the Flyers are on a run so it’s kind of tough to do. I also wanted to take the over, and will personally, but the Flyers are expected to go with Ersson in goal and he is 3-0 this season and his GAA keeps getting lower over those 3 games.

Predators vs Senators

The Preds have won 3 in a row and continue to be a pain in the ass when trying to predict how they will do.

The Sens have gone 5-4-1 over last 10. The have had 3 of their last 7 games go to overtime where they won 2 of them.

The Preds road record is 9-8-3 and the Sens home record is 11-9-1.

As much as I want to take the Sens to win here I just can’t as it’s really hard to tip games with the Preds involved.

Kraken vs Canadiens

The Kraken have won their last 4 games and beat some strong teams too like the Leafs, Oilers and Isles. They are on the road here where they have gone 12-4-2 this season.

Montreal won their last game but have gone 2-7-1 over last 10 and are at home here where they have gone 8-10-0.

These teams last played in December and the Habs won that game 4-2.

With them on a 4 game win streak and their road record I have to back the Kraken here.

Oilers vs Kings

The Oilers continue to get strong goaltending from Skinner yet they find a way to waste it. When a team has the top 2 point getters in the league, by a lot too, it’s just unacceptable. They are 4-4-2 over last 10.

The Kings have gone 7-2-1 over last 10 and are in 2nd place in the Pacific. That the Kings are in 2nd place yet are ranked 16th in GPG and 22nd in GAPG is pretty crazy.

They have played once this season and the Kings won that one 3-1.

I have to skip this game. It should be a good one but Skinner and Copley are expected to be the starters and both have shown that they are good goalies.

Sabres – Flyers
With the Flyers finding the net lately and Sabres being the best at doing so, I’m gonna go with the over here, but I’m gonna go with it in regulation.
Over 6.5 in regulation

Habs – Kraken
Habs picked up a nice win against the Blues the other day, and Caufield was on my goalscorer bets for that night.
Habs GD is 13-30 and Kraken’s is 24-15. 43 and 39 goals, making the average 8.6 and 7.8. I’m gonna go with the over in regulation here too.
Over 6.5 in regulation

Senators – Predators
Predators are in the middle of a 5 game road trip where they’ve got amazing results in beating the Canes and Caps, both in regulation. The next 3 games are above the border, Senators, Leafs and Habs. Unfortunate that they’re running into Leafs first and then Habs on the end of a b2b. I think Predators need to win tonight. Leafs away is a hard game, and b2b is always hard, even against the Habs. I think they’re gonna pull it off here and make sure they get a net positive road trip.
Predators in regulation

Kings – Oilers
Kings won every other game over the last 5, Oilers seem to have 2-3 low scoring games before they hit 4+ again. They scored 4 two games ago. As you said, Scott, good goalies in Skinner and Copley.
Oilers seem to like playing away to the Kings after covid. They’ve won 4 of the last 5 away to Kings in regulation.
Kings are inconsistent in offense and rarely have two games in a row with 4+ points.
I was thinking this is a good position for the under, but I can’t bet on the under when McDavid and Draisaitl are playing.
There’s gonna be a break between the others and this one, so I know I’m gonna bet on it. Oilers are good on the road. Kings such a 50/50 team. 16 regulation wins, 7 in OT, 6 OT losses, 14 regulation losses. 9-3-2-7 at home, 7-4-4-7 away. They’re due a loss at home. In regulation.
I’m gonna go with Oilers. McDavid, Draisaitl, Hyman, Nugent-Hopkins.. Yeah, Oilers are winning.
Oilers in regulation.
