The New York Islanders have booked a date with the Tampa Bay Lightning in the next round of the NHL playoffs with a convincing win over the Boston Bruins.

Graeme called that one stating that it just looked like the Bruins had ran out of steam, and that was the case.

We now have one game left – possibly two – as the Golden Knights host the Avalanche up 3-2 in the series.

The playoff schedule for the next round has not yet been determined.

Euro 2020 starts tomorrow and Graeme has been writing futures tips and will be covering every match. You can read / subscribe for free at BetSoccer.ca.

Here are our thoughts on Game 6:

Knights vs Avalanche Game 6 Betting Tips:

Scott: After winning the first 2 games of the series the Avalanche have dropped 3 straight and now face elimination in game 6 in Vegas.

The Knights were down 2-0 after the 2nd but came alive in the 3rd scoring twice and forcing overtime where they need all of 50 seconds for Stone to score and win it.

This has been a great series and I want it to go 7 games.  These two teams were the top two in points during the regular season so it would only be fitting for it to go the distance.

The odds are good so I’ll go with the Avs to extend the series.   They need to find a way to keep the lead after scoring 1st in the last two games.

Avalanche win incl OT

Graeme: Much like yesterday with the Islanders, I think this one is too much for the Avs.

Game 5 was the game where they needed to turn it around and they were unable to do so. The Knights have shown a lot of grit and are really showing their experience. Amazing to type that considering the infancy of the team.

I’m rooting for the Avs. I like that team. However I think the Knights will do it.

Unfortunately 1.74 odds for the OT win is too short for my liking considering the Avs ability, plus I know how they can perform. I do think Knights will take it but that price isn’t enough for me.

My teams just keep taking it on the chin. I’m pulling for the Avs but can’t bet this one tonight. However, they are +285 to win the series and I’m putting .25u on that for fun. They seem to have lost their MoJo but the funny thing about Mojo is that it returns at the weirdest times. Perhaps the Avs will find it again tonight
