Our consensus pick of the New York Islanders to win yesterday came in. It was a close game but they defeated the Boston Bruins 4-1 when all was said and done.
We had nothing in the Lightning/ganes game. Both of us did lean Tampa and in a 10 goal thriller, they were able to pull it off and take a 3-1 lead.
We’ve got two games today as the Jets and Canadiens head to Montreal, and the Knights host the Avs.
Should be good ones with both potentially tight.
Canadiens vs Jets Game 3 Betting Tips:
Scott: Carey Price continues to play amazing. He picked up the shutout in their game 2 1-0 win.
Now the series shifts to Montreal where they have a chance to take a commanding 3-0 series lead.
Scheifele got suspended for 4 games and the Habs need to keep playing like they have to ensure that Scheifele doesn’t get back in this series.
With the Habs at home and riding a 5 game win streak the momentum is on their side so I’ll take them to win this game.

Graeme: I mean it’s pretty simple for the Jets in theory – they need to score first to avoid the trap. Or if they concede first they have to figure out a way to counteract the trap.
I actually think they will. I think Maurice will figure it out.
Unfortunately at 2-0 down and on the road, I can’t back them at 2.10 odds. That’s almost a coinflip. 2.30 yeah I’d be all over that. But this one is a No Bet for me.
Knights vs Avalanche Game 4 Betting Tips:
Scott: What a comeback that was for the Knights. They were down 2-1 with about 5 minutes left in the 3rd. The Knights managed to score 2 goals in 45 seconds to take the lead and held on for the win.
The crowd really helped the Knights in this one. 17,500 people were at the game and the Knights were feeling their energy outshooting the Avs 14-3 in the 1st period and 43-20 for the game.
With the way the Knights played in front of a full house I think they will continue to roll in game 4 and tie the series

Graeme: This was one where after Game 3, my gut said the Avs would take this one. There’s really no major analysis here – it’s basically a case of yeah I have a gut feeling the Avs take this one. It’s coinflip odds and considering their quality etc I am okay with that.

Full game OVER 4.5: Avs/Knights
The Avs/Knights series is showing teams capable of “best in league” speed and fast playmaking, with lots of daring-do in the offensive zones. Could be the best hockey games of the playoffs, to watch.
