I’m traveling so have to be quick here.

After two games the series is tied at 1-1. Both games have been intense and excellent and just what we hope for in the Stanley Cup Finals.

It now goes to Florida as the Panthers look to use home ice advantage to their – well, advantage.

Here are our thoughts:

Scott: Game 2 was another exciting game that needed double overtime to be completed. Marchand was the standout player in this game scoring twice including the overtime winner.

This series is going to be close as we have had parts of 3 overtime periods so far. Game 1 the teams were tied in hits with 51 each but game 2 saw the Panthers have the advantage 60-39.

With the series moving to Florida for games 3 and 4 I do like the Panthers to win. Sure the odds are crazy with them coming in around 1.74 and dropped to 1.71 as I wrote this but I’m still taking them. We could get much better odds by taking them in regulation but as the first 2 games showed us I’m not touching that.

Panthers win incl OT

Graeme: Very conflicting one here. I like the theory of taking the underdogs based on how this series has went thus far. Feels like +EV. But I do wonder about the Panthers taking the momentum away from Edmonton.

Going to go with Panthers win as well.

its kind of hard to say and see how Edmonton wins the Stanley Cup…. I am not counting them out what so ever,,,, its just…Florida hit harder and easier, they score easier and quicker, they face adversity better, goaltending is better, they play the controversial game way better without getting called, they get under your skin easier, less injured, more seasoned, better coach…. the list goes on and on, hahahaha

I have to go Florida 1st one at home as well and HOPE I am wrong here… LOL

Bobrovsky over 25 saves , for sure this one is coming in

so Game 1, Oilers were lucky to get back after being down by 2 goals, so Game 2, they tied with 15 seconds remaining…

luck cannot continue, Panthers will win the next 3 games

More than likely you are right. Especially after this game 3 here… Florida just the typical domination . We are looking at a mini dynasty here
