The future 2021 Stanley Cup Champions, Canadas greatest team, possibly the greatest team in the history of hockey, stepped up to the plate last night and put 3 pucks past Carey Price!
An incredible achievement by the Toronto Maple Leafs and props to them for doing that. Don’t think it matters what else happened in that game; Leafs put 3 past Carey! That’s all that matters!
Hurricanes ended their series with the Predators with a 4-3 win in OT.
Tonight we have Wild vs Knights. It’s a massive Game 7.
Let’s get to it – sorry for the lateness. I (Graeme) post these and this is on me – was my daughters 14 birthday today and I didn’t get to this till now. Plus I was still in shock over those mighty Leafs putting 3 past us!!!
Wild vs Knights
Scott: We get our first game 7 and I can’t wait.
The Wild won game 1 and then the Knights won the next 3. Talbot came alive for games 5 & 6 helping the Wild to win the next 2 and even the series at 3 games each.
I had picked the Knights to win the series but anytime a team upsets a favored team it makes the playoffs that much more exciting. The Jets are another example.
Of the 3 home games the Knights have played in this series, they have only won 1 of them so that could be an issue for them here. The Wild are riding high on the momentum they have gained after winning the last 2 with their backs against the wall.
Tough to call a winner here. Both teams have dominated the other at one point during this first round series.
I still think the Knights have to have the edge. Sure the Wild have won the last 2 and the Knights haven’t been that good. But the Vegas crowd is going to go bananas here and that should give them the boost they need.

Graeme: What a surprising Game 6. The Knights were shut out by the Wild 3-0. It was a big surprise to see a reslt like that but that is two straight the Wild have won.
I’ve won my Wild +1.5 series bet. I’m happy. Not going to double down or anything.
But based on the fact that the series is so even, and that the Wild have won twice in Las Vegas – and that Las Vegas have now failed to close this series out twice already – I think the smartest mathematical bet in the world tonight is on the Minnesota Wild at absolutely LUDICROUS odds.
These odds are just freaking stupid.
