The Eastern Conference final is alive and well. The Capitals had won the first two games in Tampa however the Lightning came back strong last night with some slick offense to win the game 4-2.
That’s now turned the series into a 2-1 lead for the Capitals and Tampa will be hoping for a similar performance – especially from their back end – when they play Game 4 on Thursday night.
Tonight we turn our attention to the Winnipeg Jets vs Vegas Golden Knights game, Game 3 in the Western Conference Finals.
It’s 1-1 in this series.
Knights vs Jets Game 3 Betting Tips:
Scott: The Knights evened the series up with their win in game 2. They scored the first two goals in the 1st period and held on to win 3-1.
The Jets have been playing great on the road during the postseason losing only once away from Winnipeg in the 6 games where they were the visitor. So being on the road for this game shouldn’t worry them. One thing they need to worry about is how poorly they were in controlling the puck and not have so many turnovers.
I don’t have a tip for this game. I would think that the Knights strong home play would give them a win in this one but the Jets road play cancels that out. And one game went over and the other stayed under so I’ll need more games between these two before I can bet on an over/under

Graeme: Nice to get that win with Tampa yesterday. A lot of people counted them out. And what a goal from Stamkos!!!
“Jets” and “bounce back” are probably the two most popular phrases on the site this season when it comes to tips I’ve written.
They proved it in the regular season that they are a bounce back team and they proved it in the playoffs with strong bounce back wins 4 out of 4 times.
Based on the way they have performed thus far in the playoffs I’m fine with backing them on the road. The Knights lost to the Sharks once at home so they’re not invincible there – although they are damn good.
