So last night’s tip was a tough one.
We had the Lightning to win in regulation against the Stars. The Lightning were up 3-1 over halfway through the 3rd period and it looked like we would be getting a win. The Stars pulled their goalie and scored twice to force overtime. The Lightning won the game 4-3 in a shootout. It sucks losing but the Stars never gave up and stayed in the game.
Speaking of never giving up, the Ducks were up 4-2 after the 1st against the Avalanche. The Avs scored 6 unanswered to pick up the come back win 8-4.
The Capitals beat the Islanders 3-1 snapping the Isles win streak at 9 games and their point streak at 12. The Devils ended their home losing streak at 11 games when the beat the Sabres 3-2. This was the Sabres 12th straight loss which is the 3rd longest in franchise history.
The Bruins won their first game in Pittsburgh since 2015 when they beat the Pens 2-1. The Wild shutout the Coyotes 3-0 and this was the 3rd shutout for the Wild in their last 5 games.
We have 6 games today but couldn’t come up with a tip.
March 17th, 2021 NHL Betting Tips
Canucks vs Senators
The Sens have looked better with their play recently but that’s compared to the way they have looked this season. The Canucks are a team that are so hard to back due to their inconsistencies. I would lean towards the Sens but it’s really anyones guess as to which version of the Canucks show up tonight.
Flyers vs Rangers
Was leaning towards taking the Flyers in this one. But Philly hasn’t been that great going 5-5 over their last 10 and these teams played each other a couple nights ago and the game needed OT.
Canadiens vs Jets
This one is too tough to call. The Habs are a better road team but the Jets have been playing well recently going 6-3-1 over their last 10.
Sharks vs Golden Knights
This would need to be a Knights win in at least regulation but the Knights have needed overtime 3 times already this month to pick up the win. Not confident in the Knights for a regulation win here.
Blues vs Kings
The Kings may have some value here but they might be without Quick and Brown which is going to hurt them. Also Tarasenko seems to be gaining some momentum playing in 4 games since his season debut and getting 4 points in those.
Oilers vs Flames
The Oilers will be looking to get a win against the Flames after losing to them the other night. But the Flames are 3-0 with Sutter as coach and their momentum could carry them far. No idea who wins this game.

Rangers-Flyers over 6 – 4 of L5 Flyers have destroyed over 9-9-8-8-4. 2 of 3 between these teams went over. Rangers get back Fox and Buchnevich from covid protocol which adds a lot to their offence. NYR Coaching staff sitting out due to covid so boys will play a little looser.
Sens-Nucks under 6 1/2 – Demko

Habs-Jets over 5.5 – Jets L7 O 5.5 7-0. Habs much stingier but with Jets losing last time out look for them to rebound before they hit the road. They are 6-3 following a L
