Welcome to the NHL Tips for Friday, March 6th.
No plays yesterday. Probably for the best. I wanted to back the Wild and they did win however it was in a tight one where Stalock had to make 40 saves. Could have easily went either way.
I wanted the Hurricanes but I struggle to back their offense at the moment and glad I stayed away as Philly got a great W over them.
Leafs continue to Leaf it up.
Blackhawks vs Oilers was a fun game. And great to see that Rangers victory. Awesome performance by Zibanejad.
For Friday, March 6th we have 6 games gong on. Blues are way too heavy favourites for me against the Devils, who have been on a tear lately. I expect Blues to take it though.
I like the Flames to beat the Coyotes but we got burnt by Arizona the other night. Flames have been a bit disappointing at home. Canucks as underdogs are tempting but after the loss to the Coyotes – eh. I do think they are still a strong home team and can take it.
Leafs against Ducks? Ducks are so bloody tempting there. However for the Leafs it’s just like they need to flip a switch and they’ll be “on”. Honestly it’s probably worth betting any underdog against the Leafs at about 2.30 or above so Ducks are about 2.50 and that’s a play. I refuse to tip any Leafs games though.
Blackhawks vs Red Wings Betting Tips:
Bleh.
I struggle to back the Hawks a lot the last couple of years and it’s spots like this. This is a spot where they tick all the boxes for winning. It’s a back to back but they are usually great for that I believe 9-4 on the season.
Theyre crushing it at the moment. On a great run. Playing a very bad team. By all accounts this should be a dominant Blackhawks performance.
Yet those Hawks man – you just never know.
Red Wings usually up for it against the Hawks.
One of those bets where I think we gotta make it but I am not super happy about it. The over probably isn’t a bad play either but hard to back Wings offense plus that Hawks offense and their ability to switch off is frustrating.

Jets vs Knights Betting Tips:
This is a tricky one but I like this game to go over.
You’ve got two teams with a strong desire to win. Knights are preforming well under DeBoer and they’re opening the road trip and will want to start strong.
The Jets need a big effort as they are playing for their playoff lives. They’re around 29% to make the playoffs right now.
Honestly I am not sure if the Jets have what it takes to make the playoffs but I gotta think both teams will be fighting for the win here and we can get the goals which both are capable of. Winnipegs xGA is pretty high and both teams offenses are performing very strong right now.
