The Stars/Oilers series switched to Edmonton, and it wasn’t a good time for any traveling Dallas fans, as they got absolutely wiped out 6-1.

That was a thumping, and the Oiler with performing goaltenders and their on-fire offense look a force to be reckened with.

Now we head to Florida, as the Panthers, up 3-0, look to continue the Hurricanes ECF hoodoo by sweeping them to move onto the Stanley Cup Finals.

Panthers vs Hurricanes Game 4

Scott: Game 3 was tied 1-1 after the 2nd but the Panthers came alive after 40 minutes. They scored 5 times in 9 minutes in the 3rd and that was all she wrote.

The Panthers brought in Jesper Boqvist for the injured Reinhart and he scored the go ahead goal and added 2 assists. The usual suspects did damage too with Barkov scoring twice, Tkachuk with two helpers and Marchand scoring.

The Canes have now dropped 15 consecutive East finals games. The went with Kochetkov and that didn’t work so the Panthers are still at home and have gone through both of the Canes goalies. I think we are in for the first sweep of these playoffs.

Panthers win in regulation

Graeme: I’m just hesitant to back the Panthers in regulation – even though it makes sense – because I know how difficult it can be to win 4 in a row.

Of course, the Canes you have to wonder if they have any motivation at all or if they are mentally done. Hard to pick yourself up for this sort of thing.

So I’m hesitant to back the Panthers because winning 4 out is very tough, but I’m also hesitant to back the Canes because well- they suck.

I also won the over 5.5 last time but I am hesitant to back that again in case the Canes are just depleted.

I’ll go with Forsling Under 1.5 shots. Other than that last game he’s only hit 1, and I am just envisioning a quiter game.

Sweeeep coming up! A scene in the Epic Tropic Thunder, Dw. jr. Says “never Go full ratard”. Well yes, here I Will Go full banans! Nothing. Absolutely nothing has shown me that Canes have the ability to get a stick in between and Challenge Phanthers for this game. The have a team that has got the mojo and rideing the wave. They are still padeling out to ride the Big wave ahead.
Panthers Ml, reg, -1, -2 (and even -3 as it could get ugly for Canes). 🥳

The Canes have just sucked for sure. The goaltending is ridiculous… I did not expect much from Kochetkov BUT have to say I was impressed ………………………………. until the 3rd, LOL!!

Through all 3 games, the Total “should” be under 5.5 each game… Panthers are holding up their part of those expectations and over achieving on goals. This is one where metrics and reality do not care for each other

I am going with an under on this one, cause if Canes show up… low scoring, if Canes dont show up, no goals or 1 out of them anyways. I hate betting unders BUT feel this has to happen at least one game when the expectation is for it every game>>?? LOL

Game total under 6.5
Bobrovsky under 25.5 saves

Florida Team Total Over 2.5 and 3.5.
to WIN moneyline: Florida
To be too small and slow: Carolina
To win but be overestimated: Florida

What a lackluster series. Edmonton-Dallas is the series with real hockey talent every shift. I’d expect Carolina to “try” in desperation today but what does it matter? I’m not betting Florida props because Florida may score 3 goals and then put the clampdown on and props could stay under, OR, they may go over if Florida keeps on pressing.

Hard to know eh. Panthers are very interesting in the fact they have yet to let off the pedal when leading by 1,2,3, or whatever! I feel that is a big part of their success…
Most teams sit back and try to protect,,, wether due to coach or human nature??

its bull tactic and most teams should strive to be like Panthers when leading and just keep playing and stick to usual formula
