The Edmonton Oilers take a 3-1 lead in the series, with a big 4-1 win last night.

The Stars just cannot seem to figure out the Oilers. That series heads back to Dallas, but it’s looking very unlikely the Stars are going to be able to claw back.

Just one of those series which seems inevitable at this stage.

On a rather humorous note, we get people stealing or copying our betting tips all the time.

However what they do often is rewrite them, or run them through a content spinner. It was one of those things that annoyed me when it first started happening many years ago – but now I take it as a compliment.

The content spinner ones are the most amusing. Yesterday, Scott destroyed it with the Robertson Over 1.5 shots bet, as Robertson had 4 shots. Unfortunately, one of the thieves from yesterday cannot claim the same brag.

These guys watching hockey thinking this is a regular occurence eh:

Let’s look at Game 5 of the Canes vs Panthers.

Hurricanes vs Panthers Game 5

Scott: The Canes went back to Andersen and he picked up his 5th career playoff shutout when the Canes won 3-0. This was the Canes first win in the Eastern Conference Final and ended their 15-game losing streak.

2 of the goals came on an empty net so Bobrovsky still had a decent game. The Canes outshot the Panthers 28-20 and the Panthers had more hits than the Canes 52-37.

I’m still happy with my pick of the Panthers to win the series. So despite this speedbump I’m going to continue taking them.

Panthers win incl OT

Graeme: While I was happy for the Canes to get that win, and for Freddie to get that shutout, I really felt it lacked the “momentum shift” needed.

The Panthers just looked apathetic in that one I thought.

Buuuuuuuuuut – let’s see here. You’re offering me plus odds on:

– A team who at least in theory has a momentum shift going
– A team who is switching from the road to home
– A team who potentially has a hot – or at least more confident – goalie
– A team who across the playoffs have created more despite their lack of scoring
– A team in the conference finals, meaning hey they aren’t garbage
– A team who, backs against the wall, just won their first of 4 “Game 7s”

I mean, I don’t LIKE it – but I think I gotta go with it.

Canes incl OT

Backup bet on Stankoven over 2.5 photographs. His selfie game is sick.

Nice calls… Im going half unit Canes just based on +odds and Canes metrics… BUT OK to lose it also going half unit Andersen under 23.5 saves as the Canes “may” have found their way a little here AND they have kept Panthers at 20 shots a game EXCEPT for 1 game BUT that bet came in anyways AS Andersen allowed 5 goals on 27 shots, LOL

Are you sure you are hockey analysts/tipsters…. based on that awesome photo I think you would do well in movie industry/photo industry/marketing maybe?

Beauty skills with that photo! LOL

No bets on this game, just get it over with.

Not to be too romantic, imo it was more the lack of margins rather than a momentum swing back for the Canes in the last game. Panthers Will also want that little recovery time so they are going for the Kill today – they dont Care whether it is on home ice or on the Road. Its about getting the job done. And these guys know how to do exactly that.
Panthers ml, reg, -1, -2 🥳
