Both series got tied up yesterday, as the Boston Bruins thumped the Blue Jackets 4-1 and the Avs beat the Sharks 3-0.
The Bruins came out fired up as Graeme predicted and went up 2-0 early which set the tone of the game.
Grubauer picked up his first ever playoff shutout in the Avs crucial 3-0 win over the Sharks.
Tonight we could see the first elimination as the New York Islanders face off against Carolina, down 3-0. The Stars and Blues have a big game in St. Louis with the series tied at 2 apiece.
Should be a great night of hockey.
Islanders vs Hurricanes Game 4 Betting Tips:
Scott: I had picked the Islanders in 6, boy was I wrong. The Hurricanes have been the better team here by far. No Mrazek no problem for the Canes. These “Bunch of Jerks” have been playing well and at the best time.
The Canes haven’t lost at home yet this postseason. With their strong home play and the motivation they have going for them I have to back them to win the game and sweep the series. I just cant see it going any other way after the first 3 games.

Graeme: The Islanders have done absolutely nothing this series to suggest that they can beat the Canes.
Over 3 games, the Canes have shown that they quite simply are the better team and deserve to go through.
I’ll go with no bet however as it’s tough to bet against a team when their playoff lives are on the line.
Stars vs Blues Game 5 Betting Tips:
Scott: Game 4 was an emotional one. The 2nd period started to get out of hand and as Stars captain Jamie Benn said “Just a bunch of grown men being donkeys out there.”
With the series now a best of 3 its going to be a great finish. And with how game 4 went I’m not sure how this one turns out.

Graeme: This just seems like one of those series where the teams naturally trade wins.
I think there’s value in the Stars line but with the trading wins – it’s the Blues turn.
