The Toronto Maple Leafs have forced a Game 7 against the Boston Bruins, with a big 2-1 victory.

The Bruins just couldn’t get going in that game with just 4 shots recorded at the halfway point. Leafs look like they’ve finally figured out how to handle the Bruins – by basically doing the exact same thing they have been doing defensively to the Leafs. It will be interesting to see if Boston can adapt.

Things would be right ugly if it wasn’t for Swayman.

We’ve got two games tonight. Both Game 6’s.

Predators vs Canucks Game 6 Betting Tips:

Scott: The shot counts weren’t high, 22-20, but the Preds won game 5 2-1.

Silovs played well in the loss and with Demko still out I would assume he has earned the start here.

The Preds know that they can’t lose or its over for them but they are going to need to have more shots than the 22 they had as the Canucks do have the potential to go off any night. Preds at home I would give them the advantage here but I still don’t know who’s going to win.

Graeme: This is one that you really feel it can swing either way. A lot of the metrics are quite similar over the course of all games. Preds lead the way in xGF% but it’s miniscule. Their SCGF is the only standout but negated by the Canucks HDCF%.

Basically it’s a coin toses. Canucks are above coin toss odds, so probably slight value on that if you’re looking for a bet. It feels too much of a gamble, even though it’s an +EV gamble, for me to officially advise.

Golden Knights vs Stars Game 6 Betting Tips:

Scott: The Stars are up 3-2 now and have the defending Champs on the ropes.

Hill made his first start of the postseason and took the loss.

With the Knights at home I would say they have a good chance at winning but the Stars have won 3 in a row now and the momentum they have will help them on the road here. I do like the Stars chances but it’s the Knights and their playoff experience can help them here too.

No Bet

Graeme: I’ve correctly predicted the Stars the last two games, stating that once they got rid of that Knights hoodoo they’d do the job.

I knew that was who I would be looking at today. Unfortunately, the odds just aren’t quite there when the Knights are at home, and back against the wall. Especially when looking at some of the metrics.

A fairly easy No Bet with the odds the way they are.

Props:
Wyatt Johnston OVER 0.5 points
JT Miller OVER 2.5 shots
Lean: Dallas wins moneyline
Full game UNDER 6.0: Canucks/Preds

Dallas seems to have the method and determination against Vegas and Vegas doesn’t seem to be due to drink from silver bowls this year. The numbers and trends look good for Dallas, and they’re playing better than in previous years in the playoffs.

The Canucks/Predators game is tougher to predict for side, O/U or whatever, if the goal count stays low. Staying below 7 is highly likely.
