The Vancouver Canucks wrapped the series up last night, with a big performance from Silovs who produced a shutout.

Demko should be ready for the next series it is believed.

The Golden Knights forced a game 7 in a tight win over the Stars.

Speaking of game 7s, we have Leafs vs Bruins tonight.

Like any true analyst and professional gambler, I have been doing my research on this one. It’s not just about what’s happened this season. It’s all about historical data.

So with that in mind, I’ve been watching this – oh I dunno, 30 times in the last day? For research purposes, you understand.

Let’s get to it:

Bruins vs Leafs Game 7 Betting Tips:

Scott: Well I had originally said I wanted to tip this series to go over 5.5 but the odds for that weren’t worth it so went with the Leafs to win.

After playing terribly in game 4 the Leafs have won 2 in a row with Woll in goal and without Matthews.

I’m sticking to my pick of the Leafs to win the series. The fact that they have won 2 straight without their best player has to give them an advantage here. And winning 2 straight, one on the road, will give them momentum.

Leafs win incl OT

Graeme: The Leafs have adapted the ol “if you can’t beat em, join em” routine to perfection.

They couldn’t figure out how to beat Bostons defensive setup. So instead, they started using it as well – to great effect. It’s stifling Boston, and with two defenses both playing the way they are, it’s generally relying on the offensive quality to rise to the top, which is seeing Toronto rise to the top.

It’s resulting in tight games. I did like what I saw from Boston in the 3rd period as they seemed to make the adjustments and were a tad unfortuante.

So to be honest, when it comes to the data, I lean Boston. I think it’s close, but I think they’ll be able to make the adjustments necessary to win.

Alas, the odds aren’t there for Boston at all. It would be an -EV bet.

Soooo….does that mean there is value on the Leafs? Man I dunno. 2.20 seems about right to me. That seems like 0EV.

The under might be tempting but it’s a game 7 so do things get insane? Very possible.

I’m going to back Leafs win incl OT as well. If only because I want Boston to win so bad, at least the money will make me happy if it doesn’t happen.

And if the Leafs have a 3 goal lead with 10 minutes to go….throw a live bet on those Bruins, mmmmmmmmkay?

Full game UNDER 6.0

I can’t see this game going high in goals. With low goals, I can’t take any props unless an UNDER prop is available for a secondary type player. Can’t pick a side. I think the momentum is favoring Toronto. If they were willing to adjust to Boston and did it successfully, they’ll be loaded with confidence in the task and be very sharp. Boston is Boston and will show up 100% to skate it out, but they are a system team, they are good but they’re also readable, so an opponent that adapts and wins because of it, and plays just as hard, has to have the edge. Should be quite a game 7!
